Among recent ones , Starc in Sri Lanka maybe.. Although Lankan batting wasn't that but still.

Warne's effort is Ashes 2005 comes to mind. 40 wickets across 5 tests is pretty amazing.

Courtney Walsh for the West Indies' tour of England in 2000.

Wasim in AUS 1990 (though only 18 wickets in 3 Test, 3rd one washed out). Alderman yes; tough to beat.

Some noticeable omissions:

Wasim Akram - 17 wickets @ 18 vs Australia in 1990 - His breakthrough series where he became a world class fast bowler. His spell at Sydney was amazing.

Donald - 33 wickets @ 19 vs England in 1998 - Donald was breathing fire in helpful conditions throughout the series and his clash with Atherton was the tipping point.

Walsh - 34 wickets @ 12 vs England in 2001 - Walsh was at his peak and had WI batsmen not been so hopeless, they should have won comfortably.

McGrath - 17 wickets @ 15 vs India in 2001 - McGrath at his zenith absolutely mastered subcontinent conditions and would have won the series if not for Laxman.

Anderson - 13 wickets @ 15 vs Pakistan in 2015 - An underrated effort, Anderson showed complete control and precision throughout the series and no batsman could get on top of him in docile conditions.

Really Sorry to everyone.Cant forgive myself for forgetting Wasim's 1990 series in Australia even if he only played 2 tests Pardon me.
