Will try to go to Pakistan vs New Zealand at Edgbaston. Pakistan vs India is a rip off

I have been allocated:

Australia v South Africa
Semi Final 1
Semi Final 2

This week I decided not to go to the Final: my initial application was rejected, because the entire Mound Stand and Grand Stand have been converted to hospitality packages, which start at £1199 + 17.5% VAT, which is £1409 per ticket.

Omg. So does that mean upto one third of the ground will be out of the reach of a common cricket fan just because ICC want to earn a few extra £...s and deprive diehard cricket fans... Not helping their cause in spreading the game of cricket.

Actually almost half the seating is reserved for hospitality for the Final and for the England v Australia match.

It’s normal ordinary seating combined with access to one of many marquee tents set up on the adjoining Nursery Ground to provide food and alcohol.

Even for the England v Australia game, the cheapest hospitality package is £1149 plus VAT.

So that means thers actually only 15k seats left for the public to purchase for the WC final

Pretty sure ....those indians will buy the whole old Trafford ( may even buy the football one)....to watch that game....

Problem is our pakistanis are to slow and laid back in purchasing tickets for Games. That's why every indo pak match in UK has 75-80% Indian support

Imo watching the match at home is the best. There's more freedom. At the ground it is sometimes hard to follow what is going on.

Pak v West Indies, insha Allah. Pity we don't have group gathering here amongst Pak fans like other fans do.

I agree. Pakistan should have a supporters group in the UK atleast. For eg india have bharat army and they get allocated their own amount of tickets for each match by the icc. If im not wrong i read somewhere that bharat army will have around 6000 people with them each match
