Which young players do you want to see picked for Pakistan's LOI series against Zimbabwe?

Akif Javed is like a miles better bowler than Musa Khan. Personally, I'd like the following to be tried:

Musa, Hasnaian and Haris in the list since they have already been transitioned to national setup otherwise would have liked them to play more longer format cricket before their induction. Hopefully they play more 4 day matches in QAE and with Pak A this season, atleast 7-8 would do them a world of good.

I would love to see Abdullah Shafique in international cricket but at the same time I think a full 4day season before his debut this year can be really good for him so double minded.

I like Akif but another one who needs to play more longer format cricket. There are too many pacers in and around national team with little to almost no FC experience which makes a difference in the long run and against strong oppositions.

Just to add, I would like to see a bowling all-rounder tried. Hussain Talat and Amad Butt come to mind. The former for ODIs and the latter for T20Is.

Contrary to popular opinion, I don't think we should experiment too much with the ODI lineup. We don't get that many ODIs anyways, and Babar has 0 ODI captaincy experience. We should experiment a lot in T20Is.

We already have an excellent crop of emerging fast bowlers between Shaheen, Rauf, and Naseem.

Our spinners are doing decently between Shadab and Imad, though ideally a spinner steps up this domestic season. Unfortunately no one has other than Usman Qadir, and I will take Shadab over Qadir anyways, but he can be given a go.

But the real place for experimentation is to plug the holes in our batting lineup.

Haider, Abdullah, Rohail, and Azam are a must. Khushdil too.

Deserves a decent run as well. Too many batsmen were selected and discarded after a handful matches if we analyze the last decade. Players require development at international level to start giving performances after that initial adaptability phase, discarding players after few matches doesn't exactly allow them to develop.

A deserving player should be selected in the first place and then should be given enough matches to prove himself.

He's not a young player , but I would like to see Khushdil Shah given a chance. We don't have a player of his profile and he has done well in domestic cricket. He has been in squads but not give a chance. We won't learn anything from playing the likes of Malik and Sarfraz against Zimbabwe.

Tbh ifti has had some good performance eg against austrlia but I would not pick him for the Zimbabwe series we need good bench strength so we need to try khushdil,zeeshan ashraf,rohail ect even if they dont perform they should be tried out
