He's underachieved so far but has implemented a style of play for City and he's also improved players. Last year failures was to do with him adapting the league and not having the players to fit his style

He is stressed - Mansoor has told him that Manchni & Pellegrni has bought him EPL at lower cost; Pep has to buy UCL; otherwise anyone can spend 250mn for back line, and keep 100mn of that on bench.

Klopp isn't a better manager than Pep . If both were available now, 99 percent of teams would choose Pep over Klopp.

You can blame FSG as much as you like for Liverpool failures, but Klopps tactics have been equally as bad. He will also have a say in some of the signings and not many of them have been major hits.

Pep has improved Sterling,Stones,Otamendi,KDB,and Sane.

ALL of Klopp's big signings have been a huge success. Mane, Wijnaldum, Salah, Ox.

Klopp has to be for the moment - he is doing miracles after giving Yanks a good profit from transfer. Mane & Salah were bargains, and they fitted in his system; but the latest one is Robertson - kid is 23 and qualifies for "Home Grown" quota, cost only 8mn (that too as swap deal for Stewart) and already looking to be the best LBs in EPL.

Once Clyne returns to full fitness, Klopp just needs 4 more signings - Alisson/Oblak, Pulisic/Lemar, Sergej Milinković-Savić as Kieta's partner in CM (Or the Nigerian kid Ndidi) and a No. 9 (would love to have Leipzig's Timo Werner). And, may be a solid back-up CB (Like Jonney Evans) as Klavan is too old & slow now even for back-up. ............... Pep will ask for another billion to compete next year there after.

Instead of extending his contract Bayern actually has brought back Hayenkes, while with less than half cost combined, both Mancini & Pelegrini has won EPL.

I understand, Pep's team play eye catching soccer and he pours money to bring his players, but what tactical change you have seen in his team say after half time or in last 15 minutes? Klopp changed formation a little and scored 3 in 15 minutes after mid break against MCity.

I think, Pep's next destination is PSG for sure, and for a reason.

Klopp! He has done the least net spending yet his team are second in the league. Liverpool are playing fantastically and scoring goals for fun. I thought we'd crash after losing yet not replacing Studge and Couts but Klopp has proved me wrong. Mourinho and Guardiola in particular have spent much more money then Liverpool. Had we a better defence would be fighting for the title. It has gone a bit pair shaped for Conte as well where as nothing ever changes at Arsenal. Pellegrino who has also done very well is the closest challenger to Klopp, Spurs are playing some good stuff too.

That's what Sir Alex, Wenger has done; in fact before getting spoiled in later stages, JoMou was fantastic with his management and he won above expected "things" as Porto & Inter with a tight budget. You can bring any Spanish or French or Latin Manager and give him $1bn as transfer kitty and unlimited wage cap, he'll play eye catching soccer.

What Pep is doing is just taking advantage of the tight situation MU, Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool facing - even Pochhetino is doing miles better with the budget Levy allows him. Pep managed Barca and Messi, which is earning him lots of soft votes here in PP, but think about what he is doing to spoil the game. Do you think trying to bring Mahrez for cup ties or paying 60mn for someone not even in French squad improves his image? City defense is not better, it's just out powering average sides, it's like Rashid Khan breaking all sorts of ODI bowling records - otherwise a $250mn defense doesn't concede 4 goals in an hour. Pep has 2 complete sets of back line for alternate games - make him use 4 defenders for whole season and then play make shifts like Milner & Leiva as wing Back or CB - you'll see his class.

In fact, for a top manager, first filter should be to avoid Clubs like MCity, PSG, CFC, Real, Old Anzi Machach.. (^%$##@)....... Simione declined to go to PSG, and I don't think he'll go to Real or MCity either, while Klopp decided not to go to Bayern.

Being a lifelong Liverpool fan, I had the utmost respect for Sir Alex, because guy wasn't shallow - he lived like a king, because he never begged his owners for fund in January (in fact hardly in July either).

As you know the financial sistuation in football has sky rocketed in the last few years. Fergie was a big spender compared to other teams around him when his surge of winning began and this continued until his last couple of seasons. He spent £31M on Berbatov and this was in 2008, over a decade ago which was nothing less worse than LFC spending £30 for Andy Carrol. He also wasted money on the likes of Veron £28M, and Owen Hargreaves at £17M. Fergies best asset was his leadership, discipline and hard work which filtered down to his players, even the youngsters showed they wanted to be leaders in the future. But his spending, tactics and game play are no better than many managers.

Pep has the money, so like any manager in his position will not hold back spending knowing he must deliver with trophies. No other manager has as much pressure on him to win silverware. Jose, Klopp, Wenger, Poch could go out without winning this season and the next and wont get the sack, Pep will be out if he doesnt win the league or CL in the this season or the next.

City have conceeded only 20 goals in the league so far, it was near 40 in total last season and they could reduce their goals against by 10-15 this season while scoring much more too. The goal difference could be 30+ more this season. They came to Anfield and lost while Utd came to and drew but does this mean Jose played the better game. no he didnt as Man Utd gave away 2 points before the match started with his park the bus mentality. To win titles you have to handle pressure and be brave which Pep does very well. Klopp and Pep are the two managers who can inspire and motivate their players to the highest level of performance they are capable of.

Pep and Klopp are head and shoulders above the rest at the moment. Normally I would like a discussion about some of the mid / lower table managers whose teams are overachieving, but this season it feels pointless. I am much more of a Klopp fan personally, but Pep seems to be peaking in his career at this very moment and will rule the roost for the next 2-3 years I imagine.

Pep improves players. Look at how he has improved sterling,Otamendi,and KDB. You are so harsh on Pep. Most top managers spend money now so why are you only crtizcing Pep for it? The players he has bought are players who are young and can improve. It's not like he is buying established stars.
