sl beat pak 2-0 in the test series whereas pak beat lanka 5-0 in the odi series and a possible 3 -0 in t20 series.i want to know who can be classified as the overall winner of the tour ?pakistan or srilanka or draw ??according to my opinion it is hands down srilanka because test results are the ones people remember for a long time and odis and t20s of a bilateral are not given that much importance except the worldcups .moreover test format is considered as the real cricket .and odi series counts for nothing infront of test series .if sumone would have asked me be4 the tour wat would i have taken a victory in test series or victory in odi and t 20series i would have hands down said a victory in test series.sl also breached fortress uae.so according to my opinion i think sl won the overall series by a decent margin .wat do u think guys ???? ps-i am in no way undermining pak performance in limited overs leg .i could even vouch that u r one of the top 2 teams in odi cricket at present and have the best bowling attack in world and no shame in losing to such a team.but i oly want to know wat u guys think about the overall winner of this tour

Obviously you are a Sri Lankan fan trying to churn out some sort of happiness from the drubbing in process.

Whitewashing a team in their den in the test format, job done.

ODI and T-20 matters a lot less.

Pakistan, comfortably.

Sri Lanka have not built on their test wins whatsoever. Instead, they've dug a hole in which they're free-falling and Pakistan continue to bury them deeper.

Pakistan on the other hand have learned a lot about their players after recovering from the test series loss. Their confidence will be sky high going in to the NZ series.

SL. People still think of Australia and England being hopeless in UAE because of their Test results. Yet, both teams have dominated us in LOI cricket.

Are you trying to be funny?

Pakistan could win 20 ODI matches in a row and 10 T20s and it still wouldn't come close to winning a test series. In 10 years time people will still go over the story of the test series. No one, I mean this, will even remember this ODI and T20 series.

people hardly watched the test series..
Shorter format is the real deal and much more complicated thats Sri lanka stood no chance.

Good on Pakistan to win both the LOI series. But let's be honest here, LOI series are just the complimentary parts of a tour. The real deal has always been and will always remain the Test series.

I don't blame us for loosing the test series. Our top two test batsmen just retired and its going to take time to replace them (especially an ATG in Younis Khan).

For SL, Sanga and Mahela have been out of ODIs for 2 and a half years now.

Sri Lanka. Pakistan were expected to win in all formats, while SL pulled off a whitewash in the test series when no other team had beaten them before.

Annoying really, we wouldn't have lost I'm sure had we picked a second spinner. Just felt like stupidity from our part.

what a joke, in 10 years time test cricket except the ashes will be dead.

SRL - history will tell that they are the first team to white wash PAK in UAE.

I doubt, after NZ series how many will recall this 8-0?

They said that when ODI cricket was first introduced and they said the same when T20 took off. Guess what, people are still watching and enjoying test cricket.

SL

First team to white wash and they trolled us further by letting Asad Techniue get another meaningless hunred

Technology did not take off during that period, it is now.

T20 cricket will be the only form alive in a century, test cricket is the first to go in the coming decades.
