It is absolutely mind blogging and seriously infuriating and depressing.
The BCCI has violated international bilateral FTP arrangements, they have deliberately avoided playing home series with the PCB for the last 10 years in both our home and neutral venue's under the pretext of lack of govt permission, have violated the MOU, agreement with the PCB in 2014 in support of Unanimous support for the Big 3 proposal and they have refused to allow Pakistani players in the IPL and all these things have costed the PCB a total of $70-100 million in the last 10 years.
Please understand this, that $70-100 million is PCB's right, it represent's the amount of losses that Pakistan Cricket has suffered in the last 10 years and an injection of these funds will go a long way towards helping the PCB make investments to improve the standards of domestic cricket in Pakistan.
Regardless of what people feel about Shahryar and Sethi, some of them borne more out of Criticism for the sake of Criticism rather than anything but these 2 individuals need to be applauded for making a determined effort to take the BCCI to task.
Instead of making fun of Shahryar, Sethi and PCB i.e. "They are begging", "They are just going to indulge in more corruption", "They will do nothing for the betterment of Pakistan Cricket even if they get this money, it will all go into their pockets". Why can't we as loyal, patriotic Pakistani's support the PCB and stand by them in their fight against the BCCI?
Even if we agree that some of the money will be wasted due to corruption, but some will hopefully be spent on improving the pay, perks, facilities for international, domestic cricketers right? The PCB will then have no excuses when it comes to hiring good foreign coaches in the NCA, luring legendary 90's players into coaching domestic teams, U-19 teams, at the NCA, improving domestic wickets, improving local balls, further improving the PSL, offering higher packages to foreign players?
Please put aside petty differences and stand by the PCB,
and co against the BCCI
