Rahul is not even 50% of Kohli.
You’re right but he’s 150-200% of Dinesh Karthik - a man who has been playing international cricket for 14-15 years yet has an average like some Zimbabwean or Bangladeshi journeyman.
They've dropped him again - for a bloke who does not even average 30 despite playing ODI cricket for 14 years. Meanwhile granpa Dhoni keeps his place.
I guess it's the way he gets out after being set. Shows carelessness.
What a talent
KL Rahul should open. He almost played as an opener today with early exit of Rohit. Dhawan cannot do this. Rohit, Rahul, Kohli, Iyer will be a good solid top 4.
Changing captains in every series is disturbing India's consistency. In the future, they will face consequences of this.KL Rahul to lead the ODI side of India for South Africa Tour 2023-24
Klrahul is the most useless player coming out of ind in a long time. Nobody has ever got backing like him inspite of his mediocre tuk tuk mental midget performances. And he being rewarded with captaincy is an absolute joke.. he has no place in Ind cricket and needs to be dumped asap. If he is the long term odi captain- then good luck ind - it will be one of the worst stretches of odi cricket for indKL as captain has to be one of the most retrograde steps by BCCI in recent times.
It’s like a government promotion, next in line please step up.
I firmly believe that to captain in international cricket you need a player with that X factor. They have to be inspirational, capable of playing out of their skin every now and then, and just lead by sheer example and force of personality
KLR is highly competent, skilled but is he anything of the above? I don’t see it.
