MIG Bhai, GF has issued a formal apology. Why would he do that? Either the incident never happened in the way it was portrayed in the podcast and if it did, that GF never reported then and is even apologizing now makes me even more convinced YK was right in never soliciting advice from a coach lacking a spine and the character worthy of a pathan.
Let's be realistic. YK as I said, is a pathan and they are known to have short tempers. Their culture even promotes carrying guns. Seeing this incident in an isolated manner without factoring in his background and access to proper education is just plain wrong.
Every sport has these type of characters. Why just compare him with SRT?
It's unfortunate that as a Pakistani you don't consider someone with over 10k runs, 50 ave, and 100 catches a cricketing genius. I am pretty sure he walks into the cricket hall of fame no questions asked. What will GF be remembered for? A coach with no legacy whatsoever or just a bystander going through the motions as time flew by?
