Most of fans are against Kamran Akmal's selection because he is a tested and tried failure batsman, even worst WK and also 35 years old. But one aspect of his selection which we are forgetting is what will be the effect on dressing room. When a player has so many negative points he usually do other activities to stay in the squad which may involve creating groupings in the team. In the past Kamran Akmal has been accused of indulging in such activities at the expense of other. Who can forget that his brother Umar Akmal resort to faking an injury so that he does not play as a WK and the general feeling was that Umar Akmal was told to do such thing to make a place for Kamran Akmal. :faceaplm:

Are we going to revisit those bad days again? or Mickey Arthur this time will nip any such thing in the bud? Only time will tell. Wish Inzi has thinked about all these things before and he definitely would not have selected Kamran Akmal again.

Thankfully, those days are over. As long as Sarfraz keeps his friends out, nothing bad seems likely.

Goodness me. Yet another hate thread for Kamran by you?

Cool it down. Gives chance to merit.

No it won't , agree with Hawkeye. At least let him play before calling for his head. He's earned a chance, if he fails against West Indies by all means calls for his head.

KAkmal bubble is going to burst very soon.

He will end up like Rifatullah.

There is no place for a 35+ in limited overs cricket.

Nope.

No one is safe under Mickey and Kamran hopefully knows that by now.

He will play with integrity.

Inshallah it won't even come down to politics. He would revert to type and flop like no tomorrow.

A 26 averaging batsman, does not start averaging 45 all of a sudden and never at the age of 35. Hopefully these 6-7 matches are the last time we have to bare with K Akmal.

Players will now opt to staying relevant un domestic cricket to make PSL money instead. That era is over.

Nope, it will lead to other things that have plagued are cricketing history.
