He is not even 21 and has already picked up 99 wickets in T20 format, including 4 5 wicket hauls. Malinga and couple of others have 5 wicket hauls but they all are approaching retirement.

Shaheen's strike rate of 16 is comparable to very best. No one has struck more in the first over since 2020.

Nazar na lagay, a future great IA. Maybe not greatest T20 bowler (Gul takes the cake followed by Malinga) but him and Bumrah by the end of their careers can make a case to be in that elite tier.

Even in this circus format Shaheen outperforming Amir who lives for these banana tamasha leagues

He is destined for greatness. Indian haters can hate but this won't change the fact.

I honestly don't remember any Indians questioning his potential, I did it a couple of times but the context was test cricket and his massive workload there.

For that title he needs to do more in t201s but still is on a great career trajectory. I still find him more impressive as an odi bowler.

I don't see him hitting the heights that Gul did in T20Is, but across formats he has all the ingredients to finish as an ATG
