Looking at the previous performances of the duo, they have done pretty well till now. They can be a threat in UAE not only to pakistan but other opponents as well.
Pakistan needs to have a clear plan to target them, otherwise a collapse can't be ruled out!!!
Malik plays spin well, Well I'm not sure about others.
Pakistani think tank needs to work on this.

Na don't worry. Sarfaraz, fakhar, babar all gonna make double centuries. And hit this imposters out of the ground.

Everybody is focusing on spin but i wonder if the pacers will be the ones to make the difference. Pakistan does have good spin players. I think they will not collapse unless the spinners do something very special.

Key players for Pakistan will be Fakhar, Hassan, and Babar. Babar has a great record in UAE. Fakhar has struggled in UAE due to lack of pace and bounce. So i think a lot will depend on how Fakhar does. Hassan hasn't been at his best but he looked good against Zim.

If Pakistan plays to their potential then i think they can win.

Babar may struggle a bit but I think Sarfaraz/Malik/Fakhar should be able to deal with them.

Chahal and yadav have been doing that something "special" which really changes the game. I just hope they don't do that against pak.

Chahal and Yadav have done that something "special" against two of the strongest batting line-ups against spin bowling, South Africa and England. World-class players of spin.

Pakistan will be lucky to reach triple figures with these two wizards. We deserve this humiliation.

We have had issues against spin in the past , both bowlers are quality. We should be wary.

pakistan hasn't faced them yet, so you never know.

Chahal has played ODI series against every team except Pak, Windies and Ban.

Kuldeep has played ODI series against every team except Pak & Ban.

Chahal's avg against SL in 6 matches is 26.

Kuldeep's average against SL in 3 matches is 18.8

kuldeep is the real threat yuzvendra is overrated he won't cause much problems.Need to find a way to tackle kuldeep.

Pakistan and Bangladesh are arguably the worst players of spin in world cricket, while SL is the undisputed second best Asian team in world cricket right now.

I support your claims in the other thread where you are intent on proving how wins against Sri Lanka should count. These people here are just jealous of your dominant cricket team, you don't need to prove anything to us.

As I said, Kuldeep and Chahal will destroy Pakistan (and Bangladesh too).

I think it is finger spinners who can do well on such slow tracks! Srilanka & Bangladesh should relish this opportunity, but after that it is left to the batsmen who can make the difference! This is make or break situation for somebody like KL Rahul, if he cannot consider himself as the major batsman in these conditions in the absence of Kohli (conditions similar to home test series against Australia) then he will never revive his career!

There's no need to be such a sourpuss. Chin up, man.

I just pointed out Kuldeep and Chahal have done very well against good players of spin too.

I never implied that Pakistan's batsmen are poor against spin.

Wow I can't believe that post went way over head. You give yourself too much credit, man. :))

In seriousness, Kuldeep and Chahal will face their first true test against one of the better spin playing teams in world cricket. Facing up to the likes of Fakhar, Malik and Sarfraz on these wickets will be a very good contest.

Not really.

Malik is the best player of spin in the world. (In terms of attacking).

Sarfraz and Asif are also very good.

Kuldeep is dangerous... Chahal is not that good.

Its a real threat, recent times these two have proved to the real match winners.

Only weak point of chahal is once he gets hits couple of 6s or 4s he loses his line.

Pakistan should really do their homework on kuldeep, Will be an interesting contest.

it depends how they play them, should be looking to score runs, try to hit boundaries at bad balls, and attack more chahal than kuldeep, and put them under pressure, wicket in hands will be crucial as well.

Kuldeep no, Chahal yes. Reason - there are few things that just don't change. Pakistan struggles against leg spinners, India struggles against off spinners and Australia struggles against left arm spinners.

Just like, Pakistan revels against off spinners and India revels against leg spinners.

Kuldeep can win you the match or get destroyed by bowling pies.

Chahal is more reliable. But once he gets tonked for a few, he cannot comeback.

If both have a good day, they will easily blow the opposition away. It doesn't matter who the opposition is.

I think they will need a bit more to make Pakistan collapse than they did for Eng/SA, but you never know in UAE it could happen.

You clearly didn't understand my response. I'll dumb them down from now on for your benefit.

As far as Kuldeep and Chahal are concerned, we'll just have to wait and see, won't we.

Thank you for this copy/paste of my post. Please work on your lame comprehension skills before engaging with me.

Pakistan will survive them. We have batsmen who play well vs spin. My only concern would be Bumrah. If he takes out Fakhar, I dont know about rest of our lineup.

I doubt they would like the UAE wickets. Too slow and not much fizz off the surface. You need darters for such surfaces.

Kuldeep is a definite threat, Chahal not so much. I think mainly Babar might struggle, the rest should be fine overall.

Since, it is an ODI competition, I don’t think so.

Pakistani batsmen have struggled in tests against spinners. In limited overs, they have batted much better against them. They were supremely comfortable against Lankans in the UAE and Fakhar ended Ashwin’s ODI career in CT final.
