After win of champions trophy, a season of gifts for players are going on. Some presenters are known companies but there are also local businessmen who are offering gifts at local level, whom we even don't know . This trend is more common in small cities like gujranwala, sialkot, mianwali etc.

This is an ideal way for bookies to establish links with players, as in past this is the way they did.

Now, question is, Is anything PCB doing to protect our young players? We all need to be careful.

Don't ever underestimate human stupidity and greed. It'd be naive to assume that this can't ever happen again. Sharjeel and Latif had seen what had happened to the trio of 2009 and yet they allegedly did what they did.

It is all about money. Ask the South African cricketers Abbot and Rilee Rossouw. They had CSA contracts, were playing for South Africa but gave up their contracts for Kolpak because of money

The quota system over there meant they got limited chances to represent SA.Anyways county cricket provides more money.
