I would probably also want to make room for Azam somehow.

The only problem would be that you have to play the spinners in the field restrictions.
I think Afridi and Hafeez do that for their domestic teams anyway.

Its not a useless stats IMO. If a batsman has a strike rate around 100 without boundaries then he is pretty good at rotating strike and he can hit boundaries later. But if a batsman has a strike rate well below 100 without boundaries then that batsman needs to hit boundaries earlier rather than later.
I think Afridi in this match was having trouble rotating strike.
