2 tight overs. 1 by Hafeez and the other by Razzaq.

RRR is nearly 9.5. Bring on Afridi and Ajmal and it should be all over.

lol , no

i got my update from a 'source' at the stadium...

there is actually a good crowd there apparently. cricinfo is many overs behind the actual game

Good over by Afridi, only 6 runs.
RRR is 12 over a duration of 8 overs. Can't be done.

:)))

No, but everything that is happening has already happened. The present is actually the past. Future is an illusion.

so pretty much as expected

Spinners doing pretty great
Aamir and Razzaq doing well
Asif strugling unfortunatly in T20 on flat pitch :(

PS side not the KP VS BB game is getting very exciting

a bit difficult to absorb,:31:
but Kansha Momo bhai..

i think so windward want to play all twenty overs bec they know if they start slogging they will lose

13 extras in a total of 65 off only 12 overs - Waqar needs to instil some discipline here

hmm, very resourceful,INU ..but your source didnt work when everything was stuck at 15 over mark in Pak inns..:13:
anyways, thanks for clarification that only one match is going on atm..:)

My source tells me that the match has been stopped because Afridi has swallowed the ball.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Panthers require another 24 runs with 2 wickets and 31 balls remaining
thriller going on

Mohammad Asif 2 0 18 0 9.00 (2w)
Mohammad Aamer 2 0 8 1 4.00 (2w)
Mohammad Hafeez 2 0 11 0 5.50 (1w)
Abdul Razzaq 3 0 11 0 3.66 (2w)
Saeed Ajmal 2 1 8 0 4.00
Shahid Afridi 1 0 6 0 6.00 (2w)

Let's be real, Ajmal's doosra has always troubled those facing it first time (apart from maybe SL). Zimbabwe will probably also struggle against him but the bigger teams will have laid some plans to counter him.

my 'source' is a west indian who got a call from somebody at the ground updating them about the score.

i just relayed the information when i got it, and the information was clearly 10 overs ahead of cricinfo, so cricinfo has obviously lost the plot.

the second i hear another score i will obv post it. hope that clears that up. :)

nah, still its difficult to pick his 2nda..and he doesnt rely on 2nda solely..His other variations are also there to trouble the batsmen..:ajmal..

Butt opened!!

Forget the WC if thats the plan

and thats what the plan is, dont you think afridi has already started his gameplan, give him 2 chances, if he fails then no place for him, and if he succeed then he deserves his place in playing XI

Misbah return to form is the best news so far

i agree.

if he can play a role of a finisher with razzaq, then at least he will know that his role is defined as a striker.

Jeez can everybody stop sweating over Butt opening and all? Its NOT happening during the actual tournament. This is a warmup. Afridi knows the likes of Butt and Latif are likely not to get any chances at all during the actual tournament, the reason why he is given them a few chances to play now.

Afridi has confirmed he wants Hafeez and Kamran to open. It WILL be:

Hafeez
Kamran (wk)
Afridi (c)
Umar
Fawad
Misbah
Razzaq
Sami
Aamer
Ajmal
Asif.

With one of Butt/Latif opening with Hafeez if the pitch requires two specialist openers. Rehman will not play any matches unless Ajmal gets injured which is not going to happen, he's a spinner.
