Now that you are in the Finals would you prefer India or Bangladesh in the Finals?

P.S- PCB Wants more India-Pak matches

I think we should expect india. Big games are important for growth

It is clear that we have development an inferiority complex against India in big tournies. So Bangladesh for me.

I want India to win against BD and face Pakistan in the finals. Nothing better than a sweet revenge if Pakistan wins the finals.

The Indians have cleaned our clocks once already ..... they can't wait to do it again !!!!!!!!!!

India without a shadow of a doubt.

Lol, what sort of question is this? Why on earth would pak want India in the final.

The whole Pakistan is praying for a Bangladesh - Pakistan final. :amla

Are you crazy or what son?

After the victory all the channel reporters were going up to the people celebrating and not one single one of them even mentioned Bangladesh. To the Pakistani nation it is almost confirmed that it is an India vs Pakistan final. It would be a huge let down for us if BD wins semi since it robs us of an opportunity to exact revenge.

In terms of lifting the trophy, bangladesh would be the easier opponent, and preferable in terms of chances of lifting the trophy. However, India's the bigger match, more hype, more excitement, and set up to be a better final, which I would like to see. I expect a close match this time with pakistan on the way up, however tougher to win, but really would be a fairytale ending if we could pull it off..

So, I think I'd like to see a Pak v Ind final..

India match up far too well against pak. If India qualify, I don't see us winning. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

In a long run it will be better for our young guns to face india. For the sake of their development i would like to face India.

India, of course India.

And enough with the people saying we don't match up. The team didn't match up on June 4 because they let their nerves get to them and refused to believe they could win. This team played without a frontline bowler today and could have used it as an excuse for poor performance-instead they won going away.

The bowling attack will be ready and fired up for revenge on Sunday. This team has been reborn.

India...come on.
Lets look at ur opponent in the eye...again!

No I definitely want India. Can you just imagine what kind of self pumping you guys will get up to just because you reached the final let alone winning it. I mean look at your reactions after reaching the semifinals.

It's actually the opposite, most Pakistanis want India. I want BD to play well but if I had to pick, I rather face India in the final.

India.

To win the trophy u need to beat the best and to snatch the trophy from defending champions and end the deadlock and streak. India vs Pak it must be!

I'm not speaking on behalf of Pakistani fans. Naturally every team and its fans want to face easier oppositions in the final.

If I were an Indian I would've wanted pak instead of England in the final. But if pak fans truly want their team to face defending champion India instead of choker bangla in the final to win their first ever CT title then who am I to deny that :uakmal

Well your team can fight tooth and nail to deny India and play your first ever ICC final. That is good enough reason to be upbeat about tomorrow.

It doesn't matter who we play at the end of the day the result will be the same. As we showed here against England we play to the occasion we step up when we need to. No India or Bangladesh can stop this Pakistan team from what was destined to be Pakistan's!

India of course. All these players are in the zone right now and i mean the youngsta beauties.

They would love to face india now.

To be succinct, without a shadow of a doubt, I want Pakistan to face india; because if they play like today, they have a real chance of overcoming the mental block and out-manoeuvring india to lift the trophy.

P.S India will walk through Bangladesh, it's going to be a one sided affair.

I want India to face us. It'll be a perfect victory for everyone if we win the trophy against them. They seem way more of a worthy opponent for the final. Plus its better we keep on improving ourselves by facing bigger teams.

Who we play in the Final .... is not in our hands !!!! Who we wish we play ..... is !!!!! Sooooo ..... let me ask you guys, do we wish it was the Indians ??? Why ??? To avenge the loss of the First Match against them ???? Well, that would be absolutely foolish. Do we want to win the CT or avenge the loss ???? Nothing wrong in wishing to play against a slightly weaker opponent ..... to claim the highest Prize ..... is there ??? So think about it. There will be other times and other places to beat the Indians. For tomorrow though, it has to BD for sure. This is not to say that we are afraid of the Indians ..... but why wish the worst ??? Let me know what you think ..... thanks.

Bangladesh, just because we have a mental block against India, although it would be nice to beat them in the finals:afridi

India. So what if we lose, the win will be much sweeter. Besides, it's just a game.

My initial thought was "hopefully we face Bangladesh in the final". But then my consciousness kicked. I looked at myself in the mirror and said to myself "that's not who I am."

Wishing for BD in the final is a wish of a coward. It's the wish of a risk free person. It's the wish of a 'let's play it safe guys' kinda person. It's the wish of a ' I don't want to fail' type of a person.

And you know what? That's not who I am! That's not what I strive to be in my life! My attitude towards life is not to avoid failures and go for the easy route. I am always up for a challenge. I am a daredevil. I like to take calculated and also uncalculated risks. I like to jump in the cold water. I don't hesitate to take on difficult tasks heads on. Only this way I can grow and become stronger.

I am from a nation of brave people.

Then why shall I wish for my team to be given the easier option? Why shall my team not take on a tough challenge? Their is a huge risk of failing badly and ended up humiliated?

Oh yeah!? So what?! Life can not be lived like a timid turtle.

I appreciate sports because of it's potential to inspire me in my daily life. When I see critics pointing fingers at a certain player/team and write him/it off I look at that player/team. I look closely. And observe if they dare to take on the challenge, if they dare to stand up and fight it out. If they have it in them, against all odds, to ll come out on top. Leaving the naysayers and critics completely stunned.

Then in my life when I am facing hurdles and difficulties I think about that special moment when against all odds that player defeated all his challengers and came on top. If he can overcome his hurdles so can I.

Pakistan is one such team with a lot of potential and history of coming at the top against all odds. Unfortunately it also has a rich history of massive disappointments.

Past few days though have given me a new hope. The way the team dealt with the humiliating defeat against India and came back in the tournament with a new spirit. Led by a brave captain who was under scrutiny himself. A team with some new and young talents with fire in their eyes and courage in their approach. All this has given me the belief to stand behind this Pakistan team and place my trust on it.

So here it is. The challenge of the challenges. An opportunity to wash away old wounds. An opportunity to prove one's worth. An opportunity to regain glory. An opportunity of a lifetime.

Let's take it on! Forget about the easy route. We are here to prove our worth. We are here to be crowned as champions. We defeated the #1 team, crushed the undisputed favorites and now it's only befitting to face the archivals. There shall not be any shying away. Let's be brave!

Let's take it on! Let's hed into it with full strength. Let's be fearless. Let's trust the youth and stand behind them. Let's play as we have been playing in the past few days.

Let's fight it out. Win or lose it is part of the game.

In worst case we will lose. Some internet trolls will have a field day and might remind us about it for the rest of eternity. So what?

If we win though, we will inspire a whole generation.

No doubt India is a top team and defending champion. It is not about underestimating the opponent. It is about trusting oneself. It is about believing that we are good enough. Understanding that failures cannot be avoided. Heck, understanding that failing over and over again is necessary.

What doesn't kill us will make us stronger, no doubt about that.

Our first match was against India, let our final one be against India too.

No surrender, no retreat!

Let the result be whatever it might be. The fear of bad result shall not frighten us from make a move.

Just bring it!

I believe that you are asking whether one would like to win the next game his country played or would he like to lose? Toughie!

I hope India and Indians don't make the same mistake that the English made. The English stepped onto the field thinking that this semi is a mere formality and Pakistan would be brushed aside with utmost ease. We all saw what happened next.

India needs to make sure that it crosses the Bangladeshi hurdle first before thinking about the final. Unless it comes back to bite them HARD.

Give this man a POTW already

Your concern for our cricketing welfare is always much appreciated.

Well we held up our end of our bargain, it would suck if India falters at the last hurdle and are unable to meet us in the final.

Pakistan has beaten Australia, South Africa, and England......in ENGLAND!!!!!

This is a rejuvenated Pakistan team which is on a red hot streak.

No more fear. Even cricket team from Milky Way will fear facing them in this mood...lol.

Question is...who of Bangladesh will want to reach final and risk losing to Pakistan?

What if Bangladesh is in the final and they smash past Pakistan?

Then we will congratulate our BD brothers for a first ICC tournament victory. You see for BD, Pakistan might be enemy number one but that is not the case for Pakistan. You can fault the Pakistanis for possibly looking down upon BD but we do not see BD as a rival or someone we mind losing too.

What streak?? India's winning streak is in WC not champions trophy. You have already defeated us twice.

Ofcourse India.. that heartbeat and the adrenaline rush when the national anthems are playing is unmatched. And people need to keep in mind that if Bangladesh wins tomorrow they won't be easy either.

Well we held up our end of our bargain, it would suck if India falters at the last hurdle and are unable to meet us in the final.

Quite true... hope to keep our date on the 18th.

Btw, if Pakistan wins the CT, does Nawaz get any credit? He certainly has got a fair bit of abuse for the team's poor performance earlier (having being accused of stuffing PCB with cronies).

Definitely, India.

If you want to win you should be able to beat them all including your arch rivals.

For once I as an Indian fan feel that Pakistan if they get to play India in the final have got more than a fair chance to win it. Normally I wouldn't have been too fussed with a game against Pakistan but on the back of their newfound confidence and performance they can actually trounce us. This has the potential to be a thriller.

I didn't think that I would be saying it but if we mange to get there I hope we are up for it.

Obviously india!! This time india won't be sneaking with win.Ready to destroy indian team.

Shouldn't the choice be ..... whosoever is Easier for us to beat in the Finals ?????? Hmmmmmm ....... ???????

If you want to win, you should ask for Bangladesh.

If you want to be a runner up, ask for India.

India. Beating minnows wont be fitting to be crowned as champions. It will be a black mark in paks champs trophy win if all we have to do is beat bangla in finals. On the other hand, beating india will go a long way to create new history and will be talked about for a long long time

India all day every day.

No disrespect to Bangla as they have played very good cricket but to become the best - you have to beat the best.

I know that what Bangladesh and India would have preferred from the England vs pakistan match

What streak?? India's winning streak is in WC not champions trophy. You have already defeated us twice.

I am talking about the constant losses in ICC tournaments against India. this 13-2 needs to change...
