Would you rather lose to England or India?

Obviously we all want to win the whole thing but hand on heart would you rather lose to England now if a Loss to India was guranteed on Sunday? Or would you rather get to the final and lose.

Again im not saying we will lose to India I think we will win each time we play.
 
Golden question, I'll take India if it's close. If it's going to be another mauling... happy to bow out.
 
I want India to give Pakistan team another schooling so let's have the IND vs PAK final :D
 
The Indians can turn it up when they have to .... it seems !!!!! How do they achieve that is a source of mystery to me ????? Not trying to say that they can win whenever they want to, but they are a tough nut to crack. If they wind up in Final, they would probably win, but this is just a guess on my part. I know anything can happen in the game of Cricket ... so we shall see. May the Best Team win !!!!!!

It's inevitable. You same good performing bowlers will suddenly leak runs and India will road roll your team and win the trophy :afridi
 
Lets just say hypothetically speaking we are guranteed to lose to India in the final (hypothetically means its not fact btw) irrespective of what changes etc. I think its less painful to lose a sf to England than a final to India
 
India.

There's no harm in losing after reaching the finals. That's a great run regardless for PAK.
 
What kind of question is this? The question should be refined and therefore be - who wants to get mauled by pakistan more in the final? India or Bangladesh.

Don't know about mauled :yk but India wants to play pakistan more than any other team in the final, if you know what I mean :afridi

I do in fact they think about that they've beat Pakistan comprehensively in the first game so it should be a walk in the park right. Well let me inform you Pakistan will step up to the plate and perform out of their skins to capture this CT.

The difference in quality, skill and attitude is so high between the two team, that no matter how far pakistan steps up, they'll always be 20 steps below India :srini a batting line up of azhar, hafeez, malik, sarfaraz can never match the Indian batting on any wicket in any conditions. That's our confidence level
 
I just wish India bats first, should India and Pakistan make it.

We need enough time for Rohit Sharma to get to his double hundred :)
 
Pakistan literally turn into a bunch of scared kids every time they face India in an important match. India will probably prefer facing Pakistan than England.

Can you give me a list of innings where Rohit has accelerated like crazy after getting set? The usual perception about him is the same. Yes he is capable of that and don't deny it. But want examples apart from 200 innings. Feel just like his Talent tag this is yet another perception which has little substance on field other than in discussions.
 
On topic Pakistan would lose to India 10/10 times and England 9/10 times. So chose anyone. Guarantee to lose.

Our team is pathetic to even go to semi let alone final. We are bound to loose against any top team if we keep carrying so many passengers

Well, he can't be striking at 88 with an average of 52 as opener if he has always played slow at the start and failed to capitalize later on. Stats don't lie.

For an Indian like me, winning the CT by beating Pakistan in the final would be cherry on top.:excitedtroll

Been a long time since India won a world championship beating Pakistan in the final (1985 BH World Championship of Cricket).

Strike rate of 88 is average or below average for an opener in this era. Let's say Rohit score 130(130). Obviously if he scores that much it must be flat conditions.hehe. So a strike rate of 100 after playing 130 deliveries. How is it anything special. He has a reputation of going berserk after being set based on his two 200s where in one of the innings he was dropped many times. The point being even after facing so many he just score at SR of 100(least) to 130(at most)
 
I shall prefer to win both matches.

When you have losing mentality then you cant win. Go with winning mentality.
 
Anything can happen any day, Worldcup winners & Runnerups are kicked out of tournment. So Its not necessary that we shall lose both or one match.
 
And why are you under estimating Bangladesh, they have recently defeated Worldcup runners up twice in Away matches.
They can defeat India and enter into Final.

If we win SF, we might cause an upset and win vs India. But England won't take us lightly.

Lol. I want Pak to beat England. Currently we have 50% chance to win the cup, if Pakistan beat England, it will go up to 75%. India will have one more chance to beat the he'll out of this pak team.

I would obviously rather win. Negative mentality of potentially facing India in the final will not help our players, even if we get smashed by India in the final (big if since we need to beat England first and Bang can beat India) it may help our players in the short term
 
Let's be realistic. England is gonna give us some nice phainty that even Indian team can't give. So there is no chance in hell we cross them. Especially when you carry timid scared cats like Azhar and Hafeez as your top order batsmen.
 
The only team that can beat this England team is India so it will be a fitting final between Eng and Ind.

I did indeed forget 2007. My only defense is that the length of the 11-0 record leads one to miss a few once in while :)
 
As much as I would love to see an Ind vs Pak final for the excitement reasons, it would be pity if there is no fight from the opposition. Therefore, an India-England final would be more worthy.

lol..that is such a negative mentality. I believe we can give India a fight if we can hold on to our nerves..If Hasan Ali had taken that Yuvraj Singh's catch, we would easily have been chasing 280 odd instead of 320..lets believe in our boys..

Pakistan has made it to the semis despite having the biggest puncher of all time 'The Professor'...so lets say if Professor plays and clicks (which he does once in a blue moon), then who knows...
 
Given Pakistan and India play the Final - Pakistan is winning. Mark my words.

I was sure we'd lose to them in the first match - we did.

I have no doubt of the fact that Pakistan is going to absolutely decimate India this time. India don't have a chance. Should save themselves from the carnage and respectfully bow before Bangladesh.
 
Pakistan has been very very lucky to reach semifinals.The game against Saf was decided by the rain had that game was not interrupted by rain anything was possible and again with SL the poor Sl fielding was the reason for Pak win and both times Pak found themselves lucky in the batting department no doubt they bowled exceptionally well and luck will run out for Pak against Eng the only chance they could win is good day with the bat and that is very predictable that it will be a failure as usual so England win easy to predict if pak wins it will be shocking even more shocking if their batsmen wins them the Eng game - See more at: http://www.pakpassion.net/ppforum/s...2017-Predictions-thread&p=9311352#post9311352
 
i'd like to win the tournament.

if that doesn't happen, i'd like to play the final as the next best thing no matter who the opponent is.

the prize money for the losing finalist is us dollar 1.1 million. while for semi finalists it is 450 k. so purely from a boards point of view that is struggling to make ends meet, this is a great incentive.
 
India vs Pakistani would be a boring final with Pakistan surrendering meekly. Need a nail biting match. Only two possibilities which could give us that:
1) India vs England ( guaranteed nail biting)
2) England vs Bangladesh( Not kidding)
 
Pakistan has met India in group and final in the same multinational tournament twice. 1985 benson hedges, 2007 T20. India won all 4.
 
If you change the question to "would you rather lose in semi or final" you would have a unanimous answer of Final.

Dunno, unlike 2011, most Pakistan fans here already half expect a defeat in an India Pak final .
 
Rather loose to England

Hope they get something to cheer and celebrate about because of the recent incidents
 
England because their fans aren't trolls and don't rub it in as much as the Indians do.
