We all love and follow our teams but we also follow other teams as neutral fans. So which team you follow most after your teams?

Lets say your second team?

Mine is New Zealand after Pakistan

It's about your favorite team so that dont need to be rank high

Martin Crowe is my all time fav nz cricketer and from current players i like Taylor and Williamson.

O I love India.
After Pakistan India is my favorite team. Ganguly is one of my all time favorite cricketers and amongst the current lot I am a big fan of Virat Kohli.

Never constant. Australia at the moment, they are playing a new brand of cricket.

Australia, at the moment.

Apart from Indians, two players i love to watch succeed are Johnson and Steyn.

Australia, the most competitive team in cricket history. Hoping to see a series win down-under in my lifetime.

Always want England to do well, although it's not really my "neutral" team, more of a team I support against everyone but Pakistan - I've always lived in England.

I like to watch all teams but I don't support any particular team as a neutral. I watch the match but I don't support any team most of the times.
However,I like to watch some particular teams because of some particular players.

Your favorite team as neutral fan?

Also south africa due to AB de Villiers

SA bcz of AB and Steyn.
NZ loved seeing vettori and that just hooked me even now when he isnt playing.
Aus Their rise is intersting. Loved the old Aussies too.
SL Bcz of sanga alone but they really disappointed with the test match.
IND Bcz of dhoni.

It depends. I'm sure fans of the better teams love it when any of the minnows beats the better team for example, when Bangladesh beat India at last Asia Cup, so many of you Pakistani's, Sri Lankan's etc were all over Indian facebook pages, forum, Cricinfo laughing and mocking at them.

Really I watch other teams and look for any weak point and how to beat them. But I also see for players. So India because of of Kholi Jadeja and Sharma.

My ranking of the other test teams

1. Zimbabwe
2. New Zealand
3. West Indies
4. Bangladesh
5. South Africa
6. Pakistan
7. Sri Lanka
8. India
9. England

Nz/ENG/SA/AUS/Sirilanka

WI/ZIM

Don't understand all this love for the windies, I guess you grew up watching the golden Windies generation?

Me too. A bunch of rubbish cricketers with woeful attitudes.

After pakistan and nz i support windies too. grew up watching richie richardson, ambrose hooper, walsh, lara, bishop so many memories even though i dont support hacks like gayle pollard etc but still there is chander and darren bravo in windies so not all the 11 are hecks.

West Indies has two batsmen, Chanderpaul and Bravo. Kemar Roach was a decent bowler but honestly, right now they're behind even Bangladesh and are leveling with Ireland, AFG. They'll have two once in a while performances like that 363 or whatever but West Indies will never become a top 5 team now. They play boring cricket and are like England were in the Ashes generally. They've the attitude of 'who gives a sh*t, as long as I'm getting my money'

Current Aussie team India's batting under Ganguly especially

WestIndies is horrible these days why have a fav team that will get blasted away by most of the times.

I like this new NZ team. Anderson and Milne are exciting talents.

Pakistan, very unpredictable and entertaining, after this SA... bcz of their amazing chokeabilities :P

I mainly support SA but I often I support underdogs even against SA. So I guess my answer will be underdogs which keeps changing.

Amazing fighting spirit
Elite fielding skills
Brave captaincy
Examplary unity
Razor Sharp focus on the game
Cheerful and friendly

.

Has to be NZ.

So you support teams just cause of individuals ??

mine after Pak is South Africa.

Someone above said they love Australia for its culture. I almost spat my cornflakes out.

I have started to like New Zealand now watching them play India. They might not be the most "talented" team in the world, but they seem to be quite resolute with their approach and plans. They have that fighting spirit, but don't resort to verbal abuses to show their aggression.

As far as Pakistan goes, it depends on who they are playing. If they're playing England, SA, or Aussies, I want Pak to win, but I want the other team to win if aforementioned are not their opposition; weird but true.

What about WI? if Pakistan was playing against WI in early 90s or late 80s? which team you will support?

The only team i support irrespective of individuals is my own team.PAKISTAN. After that i can have fun and support individuals bcz they attract me to their team. :afridi:afridi:afridi Before dhoni, dravid used to attract me towards india. Before steyn it was pollock and for aussies it,s clarke, adam, ponting, warne, hayden, mcgrath and even brett lee. :P

Where are you from by the way?

Mixed family from Aus, Ind and SA so don't know how to answer it in cricketing context. Grew up supporting SA in 90s due to my uncle being a very enthusiastic SA cricket fan. Now I mainly look for quality cricket, no matter who plays it.

England, naturally, depending on the characters within the team.

Outside of Pakistan and England it would normally be WI though more recently NZ are beginning to become exciting to watch, in the LOI formats.

Hmm okay. You can be too unbiased some times :P

Need to add some spice ;-)

Well, I still do support SA. Also get biased a bit towards Aus and India due to connections.

WI of the early 90's or late 80's: I would side with Pakistan.
WI of the late 70's or early 80's: I would want WI to win.

I loved the early 80's WI so much so that even when they beat India I wouldn't feel too bad. I loved their pace quartet and almost all their batsmen including Kallicharan, Greenidge, Richards, Lloyd, and Richardson (he had just started then). Somehow the joy of attacking cricket both sides of the ball drew me into supporting them against all countries barring India, and even then when they beat us, it was still alright.

1. Pakistan
2. Whoever is playing against BCCI XI
3. Underdogs, if no Pak or Ind are playing

Now its getting complicated i thought you want to back Pakistan as underdogs against Aus, SA, Eng but supporting WI of early 80s means my theory is failed big time!

Well the joy of watching that sheer pace of WI battery in 80s and then that aggression in their batting was a treat to watch even if they are beating your team but its a treat to watch viv walking towards crease with that chew gum. I always thought WI of 80s was the best team to answer sledging of other teams. When you sledge them they never open their mouth to give it back because they will use the ball or bat in hand to answer you back by hitting you out of the ground or hitting your head that is the best reply.

I used to like SA and pakistan in the late 90s. SL in early 2000, Eng at the start of this decade and now Aus.

I guess I like the team which is No2( Not counting India) at that instant.

It's easy to do so when you have 4 scary looking fast bowlers and then Viv.

Here's mine:-

1. BD
2. Eng
3. SA
4. Aus

Least favourite - Pakistan (overrated team) and New Zealand (joke of a crowd).
