Agreed but I am not entirely sure we can base an ODI squad based upon a T20 tournament. Maybe in certain aspects but its a different ball game.

We have no choice. Not enough ODIs till the champions trophy starts

You're fitting Harris sohail in on the basis of what he did 2 years ago . . he needs to make runs in first class before he can be considered for national selection! teh 2, 3 games he played in the PSL, he looked completely out of sorts . .

Secondly, shoaib malik is not a number 6 batsman . . best spot to play him is at number 4 on which he has done well . .

Sharjeel khan is probably not going to be available for selection . . Umar Akmal can be given one last shot . . and opening may work . . so he can't come out with his riduculous statements . .

so for me, No harris Sohail until he makes runs in the domestic competitions . .

and number 6 is the crucial position . . In my opinion, one of the main reasons pakistan has been struggling is because we don't have a good enough number 6 batsman . .

PSL performances definitely should impact CT selections but I think Pakistan Cup and recent ODI performances will be taken into consideration more. Frankly it will depend upon selection of West Indies tour. If selectors genuinely give chances to deserving players and they perform we might see new faces or else it will be a similar squad as of the past.

1-Zalmi needs to play Haris.
2-It isn't looking that bad for sharjeel now, Inshallah he will be cleared.
3-If moeen ali can play at 6 for england, don't see how shoaib can't.
