I will not support the army as long as it's siding with Kuffar and fighting in tribal areas. If the generals are the problem than the ordinary Soliders should rebel against them and take them down. Otherwise we would have to wait a LONG time for a honest general to appear till then our rivers would be over flood from our own blood.

I once loved the army too and wanted to join it but now thank Allah for changing my decision or I might also have been a blinded one and died while pleasing the Kuffar.

If in your eyes by not supporting the army I'm not supporting Pakistan than so be it. But it will not stop me to pray for the betterment of Pakistan and Islam. There are other ways to support Pakistan than supporting the army blindly.

Till date it has not been proven that the bombs in Masjids were actual suicide or planted. Remember that recently a planted bomb was defused in Jinnah Hospital? What would the media had said if Allah forbid the bomb had went off? A suicide bombing?

Our Government is supporters of Kuffar responsible for the killing of Muslims in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

What does Islam tells us to do in such a situation? To wait or to rebel against the taghut?

You are generalizing my friend. All of the Army is not so bad as you are thinking it. You should visit the areas personally and you will know the reality.

In last March I visited Swat and believe me local people there were thankful to Pakistan Army for freeing them from the animals of TTP. One of my friend told me that there was one fellow of his village who had joined TTP in Swat. This fellow was later caught by Pakistan Army and he revealed that he had slaughtered 30 personals of Police with his own hands.

Now How can you call such people as Muslims? They are just FITNA and nothing else.

@ P_P, Because when Army started the operation they used an iron fist. Nobody can be happy every time. You should see the difference in Swat. Before Army operation no body would dare to go to Swat. Ask your relatives there that they moved out of Swat or not? Ask them that they moved to Peshawar or to other areas or not? Taliban were blowing up the schools and other government buildings on daily basis. You had heard about Green Chowk in Mingora bazaar? There Taliban used to hang the head less bodies of people they used to slaughter and nobody would dare to touch these bodies. These bodies used to hang there for days until they got rotten.

Now after the operation see the difference. So who was/is good for Swat/Pakistan Taliban or Army? you tell me.

i know all of that...the ttp are worse than animals...but doesnt help when both factions do the same to you...lol...one beheads and the other shells you...

army did good by killing ttp but thats not all they killed rora... :(

i havent heard from anybody from swat dude...dont know how all the people i knew as a child are...

Every military action has its fair share of collateral damage. Pakistani true soldier would never kill any innocent knowingly in my opinion. So lets give them the benefit of doubt.

Majority in Pakistan are anti-american (yours truly amongst them) and against their interference in everyday running of our country, but people also abhor the mindset of loons like Zaid Hamid & co.

^ Unlike you I don't fall in love with celebs(bollywood) but only accept views if they make sense regardless of who spouts them. Some things I disagree with him on and others he is spot on imo.

Over the years Zaid has often predicted how India is about to attack us. He was also on about Bill Gates poisoning Pak food or something like that. His stupidity is such that this man wants Pak military to send soldiers to Saudi for protection of the holy land. Why don't other Muslim countries do that when we are up to our ears in war? There are many conspiracy theories he has, when proved wrong he does not admit his errors instead moves on to the next one. I seriously believe that he suffers from some mental condition like hallucinations.

Another thing is his obsession with Allama Iqbal where he forces him down our throat insisting how Iqbal is almost a Prophet like figure. Hardly anyone knows Iqbal outside the subcontinent, no he is not revered in Iran, Bosnia, America or most Muslim countries. Why would others do when all countries have their own poets, thinkers and philosophers?

The thing I agree with him is that the military has indeed saved Pakistan from complete disaster. Had it not been for their sacrifices the entire country would have gone to the dogs by now. Zaid will never accept that Muslim empires like the Mughal's were also guilty of killing hundreds of thousands of non Muslim's. He celebrates all Muslim empires as his own irrespective of understanding how cruel they were. Arab's are not our problem no matter how hard he screams.

The man believes that 9/11 was an inside job, Mumbai attacks were an inside job, Pakistan army never committed any atrocities in East Pakistan (it was and still is a false propaganda spread by Indians) .... and his evidence is a certain book written by a writer named Sharmila Bose where she says that Pakistan army didn't commit any atrocities in East Pakistan.

He wants Pakistan air force to bomb Israel in order to threaten them to stop their treatment of Palestine, wants Hindus of India to convert to Islam or else face Ghazwa E Hind. And he mentions a certain post named Iqbal every couple of minutes. The list goes on and on.
 
How can someone who says such things on TV have an appreciation thread? Make no mistake, such nut cases exist in plenty in India as well. I'll admit that.

Our soldiers are already in the Holy land as part of the pakistan govts policy. They are there to protect the holy sites and have been there on and off for about 30 odd years. We have also fought in most of the arab Isreali wars in the past. We are invested in what happens in the middle east whether you like it or not. Are you aware that israel has a presence in afghanistan and India? We are in this no matter what. He doesnt have any conspiracy theories. Everything he said about the war with the TTP has been proven to be true. From the ascertain that foreing agencies were enabling them to the fact that we have taken out foreigners dressed in shalwar kameez. Known proven facts after the recent operations conducted by the army. He is also right about the new way of war. So which bits are conspiracies?

Alot more know him than you realise and his "obsession" is a healthy one and is not harming anyone. Iqbal should be studied and understood by all self respecting pakistanis.

I agree with you to an extent here but he does emphasise the desire to ensure that Muslims have strong global representation. We do not have that now. I also disagree with his doom laden statements at times. But his security analysis is generally pretty spot on and I tend to focus on that rather than his other indulgences.

Our soldiers have been in the holy and for many years but not fighting the way Zaid wants them to. I am aware of Israel's presence in Afghanistan however we are in no position to spread our wings fighting Arab wars. Let Arab's take bullet's on the chest for Pakistanis before I reconsider my views. I have mentioned conspiracy theories like India about too attack us and Bill Gates poisoning Pakistanis. Have you heard him speak on these issues? I think most Pakistanis are aware of there being many spies in Afghanistan.

Hardly anyone in Pak reads Iqbal and now he is not the greatest thing since the Prophet of Islam(saw). He overrates him by far. His love for Iqbal is unhealthy, it is almost blasphemous with all his nonsense of him being a seer. It is not a condition to love Iqbal to love Pakistan, no! That Bosnian people "kiss us hands of Pakistanis" is even more absurd. Taking part in some ancient war does not mean we should today encourage confrontation with Israel.

I am afraid Muslim's are as nationalistic as any other people. There is no such thing as the Ummat Zaid keeps going on about.

He is generally spot on with his analysis on Afghanistan, Middle east, 4th and 5th generation warfare etc but he goes too far when it comes to India and different conspiracy theories.

I’m very happy that one of the greatest thinkers and philosophers of Islam composed nearly half of his poems in Persian language. I have memorized many of his short poems. He is a very well-known poet in Iran and he left a great legacy for us. We read his poems in schools and all of us know and respect him. Unlike many other Persian poets, his poetry is not about delusions and unreal things, he considered such poems “more dangerous than the hordes of Genghis”. He saw poetry as an effective way of education of human, thus his poetry is didactic, meaningful, easy to remember and all Persian-speakers, regardless of their faith in Islam, could enjoy his poetry.

At first, I tried to translate some of his short poems and include them in my answer, but fortunately I withdrawn from this decision since my English is horrible and thus I may destroy his poetry. I hope an Iranian with a decent knowledge in English answer this question and translate some of his poems.

While talking to scholars in Tehran University it was discovered that Iqbal’s poetic work like “Az Zabur-i-Ajam” was a major source of inspiration and motivation for many young people taking part in the 1979 Inqelab. They recalled that it was a common thing during the revolution days to see people gathering in a park or corner to listen to someone reciting Iqbal’s blood-warming Persian poetry.

Iqbal’s “Asrare-i-Khudi” and famous “Bal-i-Jibreel” enjoy mass popularity in Iran and are taken as a way of life. The scholars in Firdausi University of Mashhad were of the view that both the Pakistani people and government have no idea what an asset they have in the form of Iqbal’s preserved poetic works.

Posting a few video's does not mean the entire country becomes a massive admirer of Iqbal. When you force a microphone down someone's throat they have to say good things about him. It is like how every Cricketer has a few fans. Even most Pakistanis today couldn't care less about Iqbal, they want burgers, cinema, nice clothes and opportunities. I challenge you to ask any common westerner who Allama Iqbal is and they wouldn't know neither will they care.

There are and have been millions of philosophers around the world with everyone of them having many admirers! Even the likes of Hitler have admirers as well. I am simply stating that following Iqbal will not solve Pakistan's problems as Zaid Hamid always suggests. He is not the messenger of the messenger of Allah(saw). Pakistan needs to follow the source of Islam that is the noble Qur'an and Hazoor(saw) to get out of the mess we are stuck in. I do not have a problem with Iqbal rather with those like Zaid Hamid who keep forcing him on us. I have no interest in any philosopher at all. I am also stating the fact that Pakistani youth has no interest in Iqbal whatsoever.

Muslims have ruled Delhi for about a 1000 years....

Even earlier than that, large parts of Indian sub-continent had already started to come under Muslim rule some 1300 years ago...Sindh was captured by Ummayad dynasty through Muhemmed Bin Qasim immediately after the Rashidoons.

So, for about 1300 years in some parts & for about a 1000 years directly on Delhi, Muslims ruled in India.
Hindus could never dislodge Muslims from Delhi, despite repeated revolts over many centuries. The Sultanate of Delhi remained firmly in Muslim hands till 1857.

So, it were the British in 1857, who finally replaced Muslims in Delhi.
As far as Hindus were concerned, they only had a change of masters.
So, in 1947, Hindus thought that it is their time to rule the India when the Brits were leaving. But Muslims decided to break India.....

Obviously, when Muslims created Pakistan & scuttled the Hindu plans of ruling India and Indian Muslims, Hindus did cry out foul...and felt that they were cheated of a historic opportunity to undo the 1000 years of slavery that they had to suffer at the hands of Muslims...

So, you can see that Pakistan is only a natural heir to the Muslim rule in Delhi for a 1000 years.
British had taken the Govt from Muslims in 1865.
They should have returned it to Muslims upon leaving in 1947. But they cheated Muslims too, so Pakistan had to settle for less.

So, here we are then.

Hindus felt cheated in 1947 of their right to rule entire India & to revenge their 1000 years slavery at the hands of Muslims.
This is too much for a Hindu mind to digest. RSS fed this narrative & now used Muslimphobia to come to power to take revenge.

So, Pakistan emerged as the natural heir of Muslim rule in India.

India emerged as a Hindu power frothing in humiliation of defeat at not being able to prevent division of India and creation of a Muslim country.
Pakistan reminds them of their very humiliation & slavery.

Just the very existence of Pakistan burns a Hindu's soul in India...

Pakistan reminds them of painful memories, of historical humiliation and slavery and their lost glory which was over run by Muslim armies 1300 years ago.

The psychological damage which Pakistan does is huge!!

So now you know why there can never be peace between Pakistan and India.

How can Indian Hindus accept Pakistan? its impossible for them. Their very existence seems meaningless if a constant reminder is shown to them of centuries of their defeat & humiliation right next door.

And remember, Muslims rulers & Muslim population were only a small minority within a huge Hindu population for a 1000 years of Delhi Sultanate rule.
This multiples the humiliation factor in a Hindu mind & also speaks of their psychological inferiority complex against Muslims.

So a Hindu mind in India is genetically afraid of Muslims, especially the Pathans, Turks & Afghans...who formed the bulk of Muslims armies & Muslims rulers in Delhi. And Pakistan consist of all these races now gathered together under one flag on India's western flanks....

Its is interesting to note that India has always been invaded from the West....from the lands which consist of Pakistan today.

So, now you can imagine the magnified panic & fear in Hindu Zionist minds.

All their historic enemies & former rulers are now formed up in the west again

So, now the Indian goal is to destroy Pakistan, to re-unite their mother India, rule over Muslims in this "unified" India, then take revenge for their historic humiliation, then exterminate Muslims from Indian sub-continent, then start to expand to create greater Hindu state.

But this this Hindu Zionist desire of creating greater India has to cross many rivers of fire & blood..

He does make a somewhat valid point that many Hindus (for example Vaajpaye the ex PM) are still scarred by Muslim rule. Heck I remember only recently an RSS gunda saying that they are taking ‘revenge’ on muslims

Anyways one thing is good to know that most Pakistanis don't take him seriously even though on the flip side it is scary that a few think of him as some kind of a heroic figure.

I have rarely seen him or his views being discussed on any of the popular news TV channels nowadays. He usually appears on the smaller ones that have lesser viewership.

This guy has more viewership in India than in Pakistan. Heck it's been years since he showed up on any mainstream tv channel. He even started a YouTube channel and all the comments on the videos are by Indians lmao. Whenever he says or does something stupid he is made fun off on social media in Pakistan.



Atleast we don't have people like Arnab Goswami and General Bakhshi barking on the biggest tv channels.

While he is being foolish it is not limited to him, in UK people burnt 5G towers, hatred for BILL gates has been very high in the bible belt in USA , repeating those same lines what he is saying.

It was under 10+ different powers with EIC having strong influence on a lot of regions even if they were not officially the ones in control.

Marathas we’re gaining ascent and got as far as Delhi before Ahmad Shah Abdali gave them a beating of a lifetime in Panipat and put a figurehead Mughal back on the throne in Delhi. That battle weakened Marathas a lot. But what that really helped was the Sikh empire probably.

Zaid Hamid is not the person to follow.

But his lectures series titled "Iqbal pur-israr" is very informative. 15 lectures exclusively discuss Allama Iqbal and his Philosophy And its without usual Indo-Pak tirade of Zaid Hamid.
