Karun Nair at 5. There is no one currently who can replace Dhoni as a wickekeeping batsman. Maybe Sanju Samson, but he has regressed a lot after a promising start. Is Risbah Pant a wicket-keeper?

Let's stop scapegoating here and admit that apart from Mandeep, Pandey and Bumrah, the rest of the Indian squad didn't show up.

And I hope that the Kedar Jadhav Fans Association will finally shut up now and realize that there is a reason why he is never selected.

This IPL criticism is the most senseless logic I've ever come across on PP.

I can understand if it's said after a Test defeat. But totally illogical to say it after a T20 match.

I guess we don't have any other better option than Karun Nair. I feel he's better at the top order, but won't fit into our team. I'm not sure if he can finish games. Still, anything is better than nothing.

Samson and Pant are not ready. Moreover Pant is an opening batsman. I guess one option is to make Pant open and send Rahul at 5. I think we need to give chances to Pant vs small teams to make him gain experience. If both don't play, Rahul will be out wk and we should play Pandya or Binny.

Haha we aren't talking about Test matches here dude. Not legends, IPL legends --> correction. And btw, Legend Dhoni costed the match tbh :)

Last time when i was on PP bro, i saw IPL as an T20 league, not Test league. Why to talk about IPL/CPL/BPL/PSL e.t.c if a team losses Test match???

And the irony being...when India whitewashed Australia in the T20 series in Australia, everyone criticized me for saying IPL beats BBL.

So basically if Indian T20 team wins...it has nothing to do with IPL but when we lose its IPLs fault :))

Having said that we cannot only blame outsiders. There are many Indian posters who are always quick to blame IPL in everything. We sane posters can only laugh at delusions...what else can we do.

Well you must have missed thousands of posts blaming IPL for every Indian loss regardless of the format Roary..
 
Dhoni once again proved that he is completely useless in T20s.

The only format in which he is an absolute legend is ODIs.

Well your precious IPL has failed to produce a single pinch hitter despite being around for almost a decade.
 
You deserve to lose every match when Rishi Dhawan and Unadkat are your front line bowlers and Rayadu batting at no. 3 ..and we don't have any power hitters or cheeky players who can play reverse sweep, dil scoop kinda shots .. Players like Sarfaraz Khan and Krunal Pandya is what we need in our t20 team.
 
Had forgooten about this match, clicked on the cricinfo button and saw that India had lost due to Dhoni tuk-tuking. How did this happen? :O
 
Oh swell! Sad to hear this news, Hope they come better in next game. Seriously, losing to Zimbabwe of all teams. :facepalm:
 
Lol at blaming IPL. only 3/4 ipl performers plays today and two of them have good outing! others don't have good ipl season this year, so it's not an IPL XI!

it pretty reflects the poor standard of your indian new look t20 team. Despite playing along international players yet your team lost to a very weak zimbabwe team proves ipl and your teams failure.

Trust me its not our new look T20 team...neither these are IPL legends. Our T20 legends and IPL stars are those who just won the Asia cup and a team Pak never able to defeat in any world cup since 2007. Thats our team :)

Exactly. So if you understand cricket...you would know there are more chances of an upset in shorter formats. As you just saw we thrased zimbabwe in 50 over cricket with the same C team. But minnows beating Top teams on 5 day cricket is really shameful...that too with full strength squad.

Zimbabwe celebrations were so nice to see the win really meant a lot to those guys.. Was watching the end of the match at gym and everyone was glued to the TV set people left their workout for India vs Zimbabwe match was good to see that... And to see ntini run on the field and players celebrating with such passion, the loss didn't hurt me at all in fact I felt happy for the zimboks they deserved it..

Indian bowling is pretty thin good to see Pandey hitting some good shots hope he will get regular place in national side instead of Dhawan..

IPL is the best thing that has happened to Indian cricket. Period. You can troll on a forum after every Indian loss and blame the IPL to have your so called fun whereas people in India have fun by actually watching best international players play in IPL.. Jealousy won't get you anywhere kid one day you would realise hat hatred and jealousy and anti India sentiment is the reason why your country is where it is at the moment..

Loss didn't hurt you? This was not your CSK vs Rajasthan match bro where you are happy even after losing. Losing to zimbabwe of all teams even after playing tons of IPL matches per year is shameful. Some of you fans have become softies post IPL.

This is the difference between you Pakistani fans and the modern urban Indian cricket fans.. We have moved over cricket yes a loss against Pakistan or a World Cup final loss would hurt us for a bit but bilaterals are fine don't really get hurt by them.. As I said in my gym there were around 30-40
People watching the match and once India lost everyone went back to working out no one cribbed about losing or talked about the match..

Its very easy to sit behind a computer and call others troll. Just listen carefully 'trolls don't last long here at PakPassion.net'. If I was one of them I would have been banned long time ago. Also I am not here to rile you up. I don't even know you so there is no point in riling up random people on internet and feeling happy about it. You may be old but you are thinking like a child here. Nope IPL is not the reason for that.. Lots of reasons IPL might be one of the lowest ranking reasons but not really the top most reason.. If you really wanna know about it I can tell you as long as you are willing to listen and accept the facts rather than blind hating like some others here..
