Anything less than 300 would be a disappointment here.
Imam to score 150 ball century.
Strike Rate of 90, and a Haq, what more do you want?
Pakistanis deserve Afridi
With the comeback of Sharjeel , Fakhar will have more freedom to play and he will stay on the crease to play as long as he can with strike rate of around hundred and with sharjeel attacking from other end he can take the game away from opposition he is excellent player of pace bowling.. U have a destructive combo that can make fear in opposition...
oh god this bazid khan has really annoying voice.I don't want to sleep uncle
Better than Harbhajan too I hopeTimes better than Rameez atleast
There's a lot to dislike about Imam's strokeplay, despite him scoring a century. Quality attacks will eat him alive
Let's look at things on a match to match basis. Despite a bad start Imam made it up in then end which deserves credit.

He looks like Rohit type batsman. Takes his time to settle.
He's struggling to accelerate right now. Good Test prospect, but should be dropped from LOIs with immediate effect. One Shehzad has done enough damage to Pakistan cricketLet's look at things on a match to match basis. Despite a bad start Imam made it up in then end which deserves credit.
No, Rameez's voice is okay, if he spoke sense, he'd be one of the top commentators in the World.
Bazid is just annoying, and I mostly tune him out.
Which Pakistani batsman doesn't struggle when trying to accelerate. Even the great Babar does. He's struggling to accelerate right now. Good Test prospect, but should be dropped from LOIs with immediate effect. One Shehzad has done enough damage to Pakistan cricket

What are the alternatives? From my understanding Shehzad is the alternative.
Or Hafeez and Azhar.
Imam has potential, has talent, and is obviously doing better than those two.
OH yeah forgot about the horrors of Azhar opening in ODIs.
If we are going to play hypothetical scenarios then what would have Fakhar's 60 and Babar's 30 be worth against a stronger opposition?
Against a stronger opposition all kind of outcomes are possible including 48/4

Sahibzada Farhan. Pakistan have nothing to lose, do they?Which Pakistani batsman doesn't struggle when trying to accelerate. Even the great Babar does.

Sahibzada Farhan. Pakistan have nothing to lose, do they?
I'm sure they do. Which is why he opened in the final of a tournament recentlyHe's the only one, and I don't think our coaching staff see him as an opener, for whatever reason

I'm all for giving promising young players a go. But what I have seen of Imam-ul-haq, he struggles to convince us that he can hack it against the big boys. Played one ODI in NZ, where Boult kept at him and eventually got him out playing a bad pull shot. Just doesn't inspire confidenceLet's test Farhan in the t20s while sticking with Imam in ODIs as long as he can justify it. So far I see no reason to pick on a guy who is playing his 5th match and just scored a century. Especially after being plagued by the likes of Shehzad and Hafeez for years.
Let's hope for some fireworks by Fahim Ashraf!
Come on fahim you are better then this.
He truly is. He should take a ball or two to get his eye in. He has been shockingly bad since last 3-4 matches.
