After a convincing victory in the first T20I, Pakistan will enter the second match with the momentum and a chance to wrap up the series. Their bowlers and batters delivered a balanced performance in the opening game, showcasing depth and adaptability on a tricky surface. Skipper Salman Agha will be eager for his team to maintain consistency and finish the series on a high note.

On the other hand, Zimbabwe will be determined to bounce back and level the series. Despite the loss, there were moments where they showed promise, particularly with their bowling in the middle overs. To stay alive in the series, they will need a stronger batting display and tighter execution in the field.

Squads:

Zimbabwe:
Joylord Gumbie, Tadiwanashe Marumani(w), Dion Myers, Craig Ervine(c), Sean Williams, Sikandar Raza, Brian Bennett, Brandon Mavuta, Richard Ngarava, Blessing Muzarabani, Trevor Gwandu, Faraz Akram, Clive Madande, Tashinga Musekiwa, Tinotenda Maposa

Pakistan: Saim Ayub, Arafat Minhas, Haris Rauf, Haseebullah (WK), Jahandad Khan, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Hasnain, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Omair Bin Yousuf, Qasim Akram, Sahibzada Farhan, Salman Ali Agha, Sufyan Moqim, Tayyab Tahir, Usman Khan, Aamer Jamal, Abrar Ahmed

Instead of Pakistan playing 3 T20is vs Zimbabwe, have them play 1 vs Zimbabwe, 1 vs Namibia, 1 vs Uganda - This would bring the much needed and long overdue exposure to bigger nations for the smaller teams.

Secondly - This exposure leads to more teams eventually (and admittedly slowly) becoming better - Result = Expansion of the Game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which is desperately needed in cricket

This is what I call thinkkiinnnnnnnnnng outside the box - But at the same time not really - This should've been planned at least since ~2018/2019

bhai plz replace this salman agha with any benched player... he is useless in the T20 format
Ideally this should be the case but since he is captain of this side for this series he wont be dropped however if he did get drop for a game or even the series it would be interesting to see who they would select to captain

I think we should make an effort to grant Uganda a test status and schedule a 5 test rubber with them on regular basis , that's the right way of expanding the game and improving our super star's stats.

I just want to say I was talking about expansion of cricket overall, Im not really into this Babar and Rizwan hate.

T20is dont have much relevance, and If Pakistan wins the next one, 3rd T20 could be a pretty boring borefest. Would've been cooler from a cricket fans perspective to see Uganda and Namibia try and beat Pakistan.

Pakistan should get another big win.

Zimbabwe seem like a one man team currently (Sikandar Raza).

should seal the series here

Saim Omair Usman TT Irfan JK Abbas Agha Rauf Abrar Muqeem

Pakistan favorites but still Zimbabwe could cause an upset. Pakistan team always vulnerable while chasing a decent total

Pakistan were very fortunate to win the first game. However this series was designed to see which players were capable to be in the T20I setup going forward.

Specially with the T20WC over the horizon.

A great opportunity for big experiments

Definitely saim. No brainer.

I think I they secure the series tomorrow then they should give Saim the chance to lead in the 3rd T20I
