Ramiz Raja:

“I've told my team that we need to win. It's as simple as that because people want us to win all the time. So, if they lose, I just can't take it. I'm a bad loser"

“I feel like hitting people around me when I see Pakistan losing. I am a very terrible watcher actually. I get scolded at home because I offend everybody completely"

“This is the only sport which contributes to bringing smiles back on people’s faces. It lifts your nation’s morale"

"Cricket is a profession, not just a time-pass game. It is a career. We want cricketers to focus on their game. Providing them with appropriate money is essential for this. We have increased the players' contract money and domestic match fees, which will increase the level of competition among them as well"

“This is a catch-22 situation, but we will see how to go about it"

A terrible watcher who gets scolded at home because he offends people lol ONly Ramiz can come up with such gems like that.

He is putting Saqlain in his place who said this is the system of life.

The fire is missing from the Pakistani team.

It is all about winning matches. Not processes, not camaraderie, not brotherhood. Win some games or be out.

Which is interesting because when he is in the commentary box he loves a good old Pakistani batting collapse and the players losing it in the field. He lives for such moments, gets a real kick out of them.

Perhaps his position as the PCB Chairman has changed him, although I suspect he would be back to his old ways when he is back in the box.

Nonetheless, he has been a brilliant leader. Miles ahead of the incompetent and clueless duo of Mani and Wasim. May he continue to serve for the next few years.

What has he done well?

And the you appointed Saqlain who rely on Taqdeer and do nothing.
