Micky Arthur too suffered heavy defeats & humiliation before and after CT17 including many whitewashes but he is hailed as a 'great coach' just because he managed to win an ICC trophy.

I am sure Misbah can follow the same path and look for some magic in ICC trophies irrespective of the bilateral results before and after the main events.

Misbah finds himself in an impossible situation.

He has to juggle between coaching mediocre players in the team and choosing from mediocre players in domestic cricket.

Even if he was the best coach and the best selector in the world, he simply does not have the resources to produce results against the top sides.

However, Pakistani fans out of touch with the reality of Pakistan cricket will keep bashing him as if he is the one standing in the way of glory.

The advisable thing would be for him to resign as selector and let someone else get bashed as well.
