11-0: Who will take down Pakistan's undefeated T20I series streak?

Streak looks like it will end in South Africa.

Not that I'd be fussed as A) don't care about T20Is outside the WT20 and B) I'm more concerned about the fortunes of our Test and ODI team.

However the streak will end due to this maddening fascination with bits and pieces cricketers. How can Pakistan play 3 specialist batsmen (one is Asif Ali) and 2 specialist bowlers ?

Its T20. WI has the best team and it is full of bits and pieces players

Everything good thing comes to an end. SA got lucky we were resting half of our team.

Now it's time to focus on the ODI WC.

Record looks in serious threat.... Everything going against team. Captain not there, bits and pieces selections and bowlers all misfiring.

Not as if SA played their strongest team either. In the last 2 years they have used T20 mainly to test players and rotate.

If this was a T20 Works Cup year, this team would look a lot different.

South Africa said that they will use this T20 series to have a look at some players that did not get a look in the ODI's. And see if any are worth a shot for the upcoming ODI world cup.

Okay good for them

It will be very unfortunate to get your streak ended with this average SA team
England India kiwis or WI I wouldn’t mind
One more loss and it’s bye bye

Need to stand and be counted next game. This is a proud record which we must defend

I expect Pakistan to bounce back.

We will keep this record, inshaAllah!

India’s also u beaten in T20i series since a long time. What’s their record?

Pathetic captaincy by Malik again. First in South Africa and now in England.

If only we had Sarfraz leading the team against an English side without Roy, Bairstow, Hales, Buttler and Stokes.

This shows you important the following players have been since 2016:

Mohammad Hafeez
Shoaib Malik
Mohammad Amir
Shadab Khan

Time to realize and appreciate most of these guys.

As I said before, only a matter of time before the “we are the best in T20s” drama ended. An utterly mediocre team with a worthless streak. Simply not even close to being the best T20 side.

Just like the Asia Cup, we badly needed a reality check in this format. We saw the signs with the successive series defeats against South Africa and England, and now the wheels are well and truly coming off.

Yes matter of time only 11 series and 2/3 years for us to lose a T20 series. Hope we have more matter of times like these.
Of course we are going to have a few loses can't win every series and that's what you been waiting. Enjoy your moment Tarak Fatah of PakPassion.

But let me be like you. Today win for Sri Lanka was a fluke. And the last 2 T20 series were fluke loses.
How can a team fluke 11 series win and then can't fluke 2 more.

One thing I agree todays team was mediocre because of the idiot Misbah.

You may or may not have had a point, but this is not even the same T20 team. The selections today were abysmal. We would have struggled vs Zimbabwe with this side.

In short: Play Ahmed Shahzad, Umar Akmal, Faheem Ashraf and Sarfraz Ahmed at the same time.

Sri Lanka broke Pakistan's home test series streak, now they'll break their T20 one.

South Africa already broke the streak little one.

I'm not talking about the one in the title. Pakistan's T20I series streak in Pakistan is still well and alive. They beat Bangladesh in 2008, Zim in 2015, World XI in 2017, and WI in 2018.

when 5 of your top 6 batsmen include: Shehzad, Akmal, Sarfraz, Ifthikar, Asif - no one should expect to win a Intl T20 series

How much does an unbeaten T20 series record mean for us fans?

With this wash out - we have never lost a T20 series in WI.

How much value does this hold for us fans? Or most folks not really care?

Quite a lot I would say, Pakistan have not lost to one of the best T20 nations. I would rank the best T20 nations, historically as: Pakistan, West Indies and India. In that order. Some people may switch it around and England are currently building a good crop of players but need a long undefeated run and another tournament title imo.
