NZ need to bat first to have a chance.

Aus batting tbh has not impressed me all that much.

Smith is on a different planet with his form but everyone else has struggled and haven't looked fluent

If NZ can get Smith out cheap and make sure that neither Warner and Maxwell fire and play a long innings they are definitely in the game.

But same can be said abt NZ batting tbf

The second game these 2 will be playing in this World Cup. Hobbits have defeated the Kangaroos in their previous encounter, will the kangaroos fight back in this one to draw?

Maxwell has struggled? He must be some player if this is struggling.

Lol at anyone saying aus lineup isn't good. They've revolutionised the game.

Australia's only weakness is that the fourth and fifth bowler is weak kiwis need to Bat first and go after this weakness otherwise they will get smacked
 
This Oz team is all hype no substance, only smith is real deal and warner to some extent, clarke is past it, and all others are glorified sloggers or hacks, and you can't trust them when heat is on, and same in bowling, only starc is real threat and jhonson and hazlewood are average odi bowlers and faulkner and watson are really mediocre, and Oz badly lack a quality spinner, which will not let them win in Asia against quality teams, kiwis just have to somehow get smith early and while batting just see out starc overs and rest will take care of itself. Other than Smith and starc this Oz team is mediocre and stand no chance vs Oz team of 2000s to 2009.

Brendon mccullum has also revolutionised the game. Australia rarely come up against a team which goes hard at them. This is the most aggressive NZ team of all time , because of mccullum. Aus will not win this final easily , if they win it at all .

Hugh advantage for new Zealand, but if Australia get mccullum early then I think the kiwis will fold like a pack of cards , maccullums wicket is huge
 
This is a flat track and the strategy should be simple enough. Put 325+ on the board and go HAM with your bowling.

Kiwis are a bunch of hacks who are not playing on mickey mouse grounds for the first time. Let's see how they hit sixes at MCG.
 
In a Final game 250 would also put pressure on chasing side , Kiwis need to keep cool here, wickets in hand would be golden.
