New Zealand (259 & 255) beat India (156 & 245) convincingly in the 2nd Test by 113 runs to seal a 3-Test series victory (2-0) with one match remaining

Just watched a bit of this game. The ball is turning miles as compared to Pindi. There is also a lot of bounce
 
Unfortunately I think India will chase this down. Santner is going at it alone, ajaz is really out of form.

It's sad to see what's happening with Virat kohli. He is the only Indian cricketer I have ever liked. He is a good guy.

Hopefully he bounces back and score some more in test cricket.
 
How good is Washington with the bat? Can he hang around to support Sarfraz? Need to get the remaining runs under 200 and with the psychological boost India will have a shot.
 
There was no way India were going to chase them runs, to beging with. NZ won it with the target set.
 
For minute I was worried Kohli might score a fraud flukey 100 and save his test spot.

Hopefully this is enough to get him out of the test squad for good.

Many many congratulations to NZ for showing the English, Australians and 7% of South African population how to win a test series in India.

NZ are boss of cricket and hopefully they tease Australians just like their president teased Australia after winning WTC Final in 2021.
 
Rohit Sharma has no test hundred in his last 8 innings. Is he there to just captain or play t20 innings getting the team off to a start in test? He is 37 going to be 38. Needs to retire from test

Should have retired with average over 50 in Test cricket. Once you average in 40s in Test you are only very good, not a great of the format.
 
The lower order has saved India from many embarrassments before, can Ashwin and Jadeja do it again?
 
If Sarfraz who's averaging 70 in Indian domestic cricket does not belong at this level then what does that prove? Indians are the least talented?
 
Jadeja and Ashwin need to stich together a partnership like they did against minnow Bangladesh.
 
I thought washu would score a fifty. He can't do everything by himself.

Doubt the likes of Kohli tendulkar sharma Dhoni wanted to carry on, maybe commercial reasons they have to stay on.

Not happening. That was just that, against a minnow. This is against high quality bowling of New Zealand who is about to end India’s test home supremacy.

What about Kohli? Whats he done since 2020 in test?. Surely a billion plus has options. I just dont get why India with all the talents there, keep playing players for too long. Need to rotate better and give newer players chances and not people going into their late 30s.

Everyone here probably expected Australia to break India's winning streak at home.
The kiwis doing it after being hammered by Sri Lanka makes this even better
 
Sad to see the greatest home dominant side near it's end.

But all good things have to come to an end. Don't want to see any of Rohit, Kohli, Jadeja, Ash in the next home season.

Need to start afresh with younger legs.

They should now start playing FC on turning pitches so that their batsmen learn the art again.
