You don't need to bowl 150 to rob the batsman off the time ..... ever see Afridi / Chris Harris and Michael Bevan bowl ? Do you see what those guys did ? They were quick through the air , and skidded off the pith , didnt flight the ball nor were big spinners of the ball. Ashwin and Vettori have the variation and skill set to flight the ball , jadeja doesn't . jadeja flighting the ball makes it very easy to line him up and slog over midwicket.

Afridi still flights the ball, when batsmen are looking to smash the bowlers, 110KM pace bowlers and 90km/h non turners are not worth the risk and that is why MSD went with Jadeja. Raina was never going to pick up wickets, jadeja had more chance of picking up wickets than Raina and that is what India needed while the Aussies were on their mini collapse. Raina can only adjusts his speed with his shoulder while Jadeja does the same along with varying grip and seem positions. The batsmen would have picked up Raina's speed and spin variations out of the hand. MSD made a sensible call.
