2015 World Cup Result : Australia overpowers India to advance to the Final of the 2015 World Cup

Clarke is either nuts or has extreme faith in his bowlers no matter how crappy

everytime India gets back in the game , they throw it away and only themselves to blame...bad shots.
dhawan , Sharma and raina

Haha....mate how are you feeling now? India lost this match, the very moment we lost the toss. Simple!

nope. like tests. matches are won session by session. kohli killed the momentum and got out in worst way possible.

you can not lose a session in methodical approach.

Blame it on Dhawan he just lost it.

Dhoni will bring it close to say the least no wicket coming for next 15 overs.

It is not possible to win a match in Australia, without winning the toss..especially against a strong batting line up.Admit it.

i don't think toss played its part. the pitch is still flat. NOTHING for the bowling.

haven't seen indian batsman played like this from a long time.

A repeat of 2003 world cup where India (especially bowlers) marched through till finals and succumbed to Australia :(
And Australia has always been the toughest opponent for India in World Cups, because they have "zero" choke factor when it comes to big stage (that's why they have won so many cups!)

The odd ball is bouncing, seaming. It is now a two-paced wicket. MCG,Adelaide,Sydney have the most biased wickets in the World. While pitches in NZ are best and totally unbiased.

It isn't fair to say that Aussies have zero choke factor. They have lost in many knockout stages before in ICC tournaments. But it is fair to accept that they have a great balance in their than India. India is the 3rd best team in the tournament so far.

Dhawan and sharma gave the best opening stand and amazing platform , kohli the most touted player , coming first down , he needed to play a Steve Smith innings...he blew the whole momentum

That's harsh.

In India he's a tiger but outside it he's not good against the bounce, well known.

That can be said for many players.

Have you seen his record in india? He is rubbish in India too. He is our best batsman against seam, swing and bounce. But lack application in ODIs. Terrific player in test format though.

Sorry I thought u was talking about Raina.

Yes agree Rahane is a very good Test bat but inconsistent at ODIs.

I disagree with all the tantrums against Rahane here. He is a better player but not suitable for this position. He is someone who works with pace and an orthodox opener and shall look good when he opens the innings.

Dhoni needs to capitalize on faulkner and maxwell ..johnson and starc probably wont give him much to hit.
