Superb and intelligent bowling by the Aussies on a flat track.

You've got to hand it to them, they do their homework on each batsman and then execute the plan to perfection.

Geez, Aussie Steve Bucknor needs to get pensioned off. His vision is failing him, that was a clear inside edge from Gibbs not given.

No more Ozzie citizenship for him! :)))
 
Australians are the master....but i really hope srilanka wins this world cup....
 
In fairness, I think that Bucknor showed tremendous consideration of the wider picture there - one wicket or ten million Saffie suicides?

i just came here to say hello to saffer n JAF.........

cant see any signs of them ...............

SA supporters jaws in the stadia are just pointing south and hopefully they are contacting their travelling agents for a quick return now...........

Australia are the masters of the game, looking very strong today, I doubt South Africa can get upto 250 which is the total required to beat this Aussie side with their batting on form.

Am working! By time I get home in an hour game might be over! So haven't seen a ball bowled in anger. Or this just a nightmare. :)
 
what a ball from Tait. 3 feet down the legside and goes for 4 wides. Gilchrist couldn't even touch it

Saffers will be taking another one of those Safari trips after this game. We won't see him until South African beats some pansy team

I feel for south africa :-). but they shouldn't lose heart. get to 170-180. afterall, if they can chase 434 why can't they defend a 175?

I woke up at 12:15 and ch9 hadn't started their coverage yet. So I went back to bed for 15 mins.
 
This is amazing, I log on to see if the match has started and what I see is that it is pretty much over.

But still, I expect a good rear guard by Gibbs and I expect SA to get as close to 200 as possible. They should at least try till the last ball. They shouldn't roll over and die.

Cmon guys you all should know by now. Jamaica is only island west and there is one hour time difference. Its not ICC fault, almost 60 games have been played and only Jamaica start time is 3:15 GMT where as all the other games at 2:15GMT.

You just need to understand how the time zones work :D
 
SA has to survive to atleast 40 overs but try to make it to 50. If they get to 50 overs than 225+ score
 
SA should get some runs on the board. Aus needs batting practice as well so that they can prepare against SL.
 
SA trying to rebuild, now 5-69 after 19 overs. Run rate bit over 3.5.
 
While Gibbs is at the crease, they can still win. We have to get him out soon.
 
Who is this Saffa commie on with Nicholas now? He sounds like he's about to slit his wrists! :)))

SA wanted to make a statement and they wanted to go after McGrath and he was too good on the day - Richards
He cannot even come close to or live in the same city as Aamir Sohail or even Rameez Raja when the team fails. He maybe in shock and not going after the team
