A suited coach in cricket

So Islamabad United has taken a initiative. They will be presenting their coach as suited up.

Now i think its ridiculous, because a Cricket Coach and a Football manager are both different things.

Its obvious they are trying to copy football managers.

But in cricket, its the captain who plays the card not the coach.

Btw, Dean Jones does look good

These T20 leagues are made for gimmicks, so no surprise.

I fully expect the IPL to catch on (they never innovate, only copy off of other leagues like the Big Bash), and they'll have a giant sponsor logo emblazoned on the suit to go with it. Just wait and watch.

How can a player with no or limited international cricket experience become a cricket coach through certification? Furthermore, how do they gain expertise surpassing players who have played significantly more international games, who now learn techniques from them? Isn't this situation contradictory?
