With so many moral victories going on these days i think we need a thread to keep a record of all these moral victories stats.

So far India is miles ahead of others in this category and they are ranked number 1 at PP Moral Ranking table!

Moral victory will be if we don't get absolutely thrashed by India

Moral victory will also be if we somehow make it past the group stages

Moral victory will also be if we skip a defeat against minnows! we are playing 3 of them in group stage

India will be looking for these small moral victories throughout the world cup, like we always do overseas.. Priceless for us fans

Please add first entry into the list Sydney test 2010. We lost the match, but morally we won.

Moral victory for us vs Pakistan in the warm up match.

Taskin Ahmed to take 2 -3 wickets with an economy rate under 5.5

Bangladesh score 200 runs and pick up 5 wickets. :shakib

Get Afridi out for a duck, biggest moral victory ever. He always bashes our minnow bowlers.

It's a moral victory for us, we forced the english to settle for a draw when they could have easily chased 99 runs.

Kudos to our bowlers and fielders.

Moral victory for pak if England feel hurt by not clinching this. Which they should!!!!

One of the greatest moral victories in the history of cricket.

Lol, they can be happy with their moral victory. End of the day, it's still 0-0.

Without seeing this thread i can predict that 90 per cent of the posts would be related to India. The only team that has more moral victories in recent times than actual ones. :)))

the thread was started during their overseas tour before WC :))

Damn! But hey we still won 4-1 in the moral series. Give us the trophy now!!

Sorry but i can only give a cake in this case

If England can somehow manage to survive till last session that will be a moral victory for them.

India proudly walks away with a Moral Victory despite rain spoilsport

Virat and co should be proud of what they have done here.

This test match was there for the taking of not for the rains.

Massive moral boost to the Kohli juggernaut.

Whitewash wishes still alive.

Oh not the moral victory crap again.

I am sick of moral victories.

FC strikes again with another one of his poorly created troll threads.

Anyways, whitewash is winning all games. Rain has taken off whitewash technically speaking.

No joint no. 1 rankings for India now

You play for pride and not rankings which have no relevance in the actual world.

Proud of you my team India.

There will be many test wins with this dabang attitude.

Winning a test series in Aus or Sa is more important for me as an Indian fan than the no.1 ranking.
But in this era of home track bullies where no team can win in the other's backyard, no.1 ranking is important for a good ego boost.

India got some moral victories while losing in the last few years. One of those kinds of moral victory in the remaining tests will be great for India.

Good thing is despite rankings been flawed, you are still aiming for #1 unlike many lulloo fans settling for #2 and even worse showing off being #2. I'd rather quit watching cricket than settle for mediocrity. Flawed or fair, #1 is always that's ever mattered. #2 is only the latest loser.

Honestly other than Indian fans, does anybody else ever talk about moral victories?

Correct me if i am wrong but i don't remember any non-Indian fans every celebrating moral victories like some indians fans seem to do.

You should lighten up a bit.

99% of the conflicts in the world are won through moral victories only. Only in the world of sports does the desperation pushes people to cross the line.

For someone showing off "moral victories"....this bit sounds very rich

a haka celebration is a must here at this stage.

Only victors here are the farmers who were praying for rain. Otherwise there were no lessons learnt or battles won.

Edit: forgot that Shikhar Dhawan has won a moral victory by remaining 45 not out and seasling his spot for the rest of the series.

One fan is enough to generalize "all Indian fans" and then we talk about Paris and generalizing.

How many Indian fans here are claiming the moral victory?

Every lost match for India in away tours is like a moral victory for our indian brothers.

Why don't ICC start a ranking system for moral victories? I am sure India will always stay at the top of such rankings.

it was an indian who started this trend of celebrating their loses by calling them moral victories :))) :)))

India is ranked number 1 and far head of the pack when it comes to Moral victories.

No one is going to stop this juggernaut for years to come.

It wont be long before ICC starts giving out points for moral victories to pacify our aggrieved Indian brothers.

Stop this moral victory non-sense please.
It's not even funny anymore

When it loses its entertainment value, jokes get reset, movie franchises get rebooted.

Right time to reverse this joke on your neighbors.

The foreign tours are coming - throw the moral victory stuff on Pakistan.

(hahahahah - insert evil laughter)

P.s: I am only doing this because Moh@n selected me in Team India for the PCL series and I felt like I had to oblige the favor.

:))

The thing is they cannot throw it back on Pakistan because the moral victory territory solely belongs to Indians.

I guess that is why they are getting tired of this.

Tired of lifting all the moral victory trophies.

Tennis Elbow injury to the one who started the moral victory thing because why not. ...

Worldcup is also Coming so....
So moral victories thread and #greenstorm thread ?
Woah #DoubleBlow :akhtar

I am thinking of pre empting by opening a Bluestorm awaiting Pakistan thread during the Asia cup days. Thinking out loud.

It is a good idea to start this right now.

After this, India are mostly playing home or against Windies.

#BlueStormAwaits

Sounds a catchy hashtag too ...

*** Responsive thinking out loud to your thinking out loud

I dont know if you know the history of these storm threads but they have ALWAYS backfired on Pakistan and some of the most oldest members of this forum were responsible for making those threads. This time; i for one wont let that happen. I am going total soldier on this. This is my objective.
