Here's my moral victory card for the series -

1st ODI - India should have won after Bailey was out on a duck.
3rd ODI - Maxwell should have fallen giving India the match. Umpire had other plans.

With 4 players making their debut, I think India did well to avoid a whitewash against all odds.

Excuse me but what the heck are you all talking about "good fight." NO. It was not a good fight. They COLLAPSED in batting. Should've scored 350, ended up with a garbage ODI score. Gave 2 big scores to Guptill and Williamson. Hafeez dropped an absolute sitter of a catch Rahat has zero brain and NO mental toughness and lost the match in his over. Rizwan and Sarfraz made a pathetic effort on a ball that NZ would've caught

What about that was a moral victory????
 
Relax 290 is a brilliant score after the awful 20/2 start.

Guptill is the best opener in the world, Kane is one of the best batsmen, no shame in allowing them to score big. The fielding mistakes were awful, yes, but we would've won if it weren't for that garbage umpiring call on Anderson.

At least they fought well in the end and should've won if not for the umpiring blunder. But you're right Pakistani batting as usual capitulating after looking well set to score well in excess of 300, its nothing new.
 
Moral victory if Pakistan set England 250 to defend in the final innings??

I never had too many expectations when this test match seroes started.. I'd probably give England a 2-1 win over Pakistan in this series if I'm being very optimistic.. judging by how well we have played so far.. I'd say pushing England on the back foot for 3 days is quite an achievement.. a lead of 250 with Yasir bowling at one end.. I would say its 50 : 50

I hope these 2 batsmen do enough damage and than Yasir do the rest that will make sure English players don't recover from this beating any time soon and advantage will be on our side in next match.
 
Right now it's one of the few occasions when there the same number 1 test team in both ICC rankings and Moral victory rankings though India are in danger of losing the moral victory ranking
 
Nice little moral victory for India in the 1st test against Australia. They got past their first innings total of 105
 
I don't think that last wicket hit the glove, ergo Australia didn't take 20 wickets and this was a moral draw. 4-0 still on the cards.

You deserve it.

Most of my Pakistani friends are ashamed if this win , their expressions and lack of fb updates clearly show their morale is down.
