Rehmat and hasmat will bat slow, if Pakistan can get ibrahim out, they are well in the game if Babar doesnt mess up things

This would be the 3rd highest successful chase at Chennai in the grounds history. Afghans don't have the quality to chase this. Would be a bottlejob if PAK allow this chase.

Even with a wicket, there is still no stopping the flow of runs. The bowling is just so horrendous, none of the bowlers ever get their lines/length right ever. It's hard to comprehend what these guys are taught when growing up.

Mentally strongest in our unit use to be fakhar before the no 3 drop drama ruined him.

Currently it's chacha and shaheen.

Everyone else is toothless including rizzu lol

he is clueless and that issue issue is compounded by the lack of control of our bowlers. Or rather the second issue is compounded by inept captaincy because the captain insists on persisting with bowlers who are being clobbered.

A captain like a Rohit or Dhoni would have brought back Rauf from the other end to get another wicket. What does Babar "Bradman" do? Keeps bowling his buddy Shadab just to bowl his long hops

I never understood the logic of picking 2 x right arm leggies. Makes the spin attack one dimensional. Seems like they were picked merely for competitive purposes.
 
what kind of fielding efforts are these. I know these have been awful bowling but outfield fielding has been a disgrace.
 
Babar removed Ifti after he got hit for one six. But his best friend Shadab keeps bowling despite nonstop trash bowling. Awful captain.
 
The reason why I think Afghanistan will not choke this time is because they have scored at such a high rate early in the innings. There is no scoreboard pressure now for them and can just milk the bowling. Had they been only 95 or even 110 by end of 23 overs, then they would have crumbled by the rising run-rate. Not now. They are so ahead in the game.

Afghanistan batsmen practice against Noor/Rashid/Mujeeb/Nabhi in the nets. They will be feasting on half trackers. If they don't lose their head they shoudl be able to milk these guys

Completely agree. He shouldn't even part of the WC squad let alone opening. Saim Ayub isn't the finished article yet but at least he can't play the short ball and doesn't possess the limited shot range that Imam has.

England were too busy trying to revive Stokes' magic rather than build a proper team like last time.
 
Afg have Rashid Khan coming in at 8. They have so much depth, easy win.
 
Afghanistan is taking it close for last few games, guess today is their time. Still hard to believe how low we have gone . None the less this must be curtains for Babar and crew for sure.

Also my main team is NZ and Aus both. Thats my support.

I will support Pakistan once the changes I recommended on the 2027 thread I made are implemented.
