Brooks is the definition of ultra flat track bully. He's no different then people like Hafeez. Yes unlike Hafeez he's a solid player of swing, But he's a deer against spin.

All his tests hundreds and his one odi hundred was achieved when the pitches were so freakishly flat that even Warne and murli wouldn't have been able to do anything on such pitches.

Sam Konstas is better then Brooks lol, however the issue with konstas is that he's too inexperienced atm since he tends to rush things with no rhyme or reason.

But in terms of shots, you can clearly tell konstas has mastered his strokes but he's too young and hence has no temprament while Brooks is a certified hack.

However sides have caught onto this. Nz made a mistake in the test series cause they thought that England would fold due to scorecard pressure. They didn't account for Brooks, Same way Pakistan delusional believed they could outbat England on a phatta and Brooks ronked 300+.

He's a decent player of pace and really dominates you if the pitch has nothing for seamer and spinners but he won't get this every game.
