I have been following this for a few days now. The videos and photos look intense and very large gatherings. Syed mumfazil covers all this on his podcast. That’s how I got to know about it

You need a leader to bring people together at tense times, but unfortunately he is in prison at the behest of Generals and their puppeteers in Washington

Information Minister Murtaza Solangi said on Sunday morning that the Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) home department had released a statement clarifying that the situation in the region was “completely peaceful”.

However, mobile internet service had been suspended across the region by the authorities till further orders. The decision came after two clerics from different schools of thought made insensitive remarks over the past few days, hurting the feelings of the respective communities.

A delegation of prominent Ulema (religious scholars) from various parts of the country visited Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) on Monday to promote Islamic brotherhood and foster dialogue among people from different schools of thought.

G-B's Home Minister, Shams Lone, emphasized the importance of respecting each other's beliefs to maintain peace in the region. The delegation visit aimed to strengthen the bonds of Islamic brotherhood.

Minister Lone stated that respecting each other's beliefs and faiths was crucial for achieving development in the region. He also highlighted the government's commitment to resolving issues through understanding and peaceful efforts.

Moreover, over 4,000 students from different districts organized rallies to demonstrate their dedication to a peaceful G-B and counter any misunderstandings about the region's situation.

They emphasized the importance of education and the need for a peaceful environment to achieve it.

The students' rallies conveyed a strong message that the people of G-B were determined to pursue education, development, and harmony.

The situation in G-B remained peaceful on that day, with normal operations in commercial centers and bazaars. The government also noted an influx of tourists, both domestic and international, to the region.

However, certain individuals with divisive agendas were using social media to spread false information and propaganda, attempting to cast a negative light on peaceful protests by religious groups.

The government assured that during these peaceful demonstrations, there had been no incidents of gunfire or damage to private or government property.

Furthermore, the government had engaged the army and other security forces to ensure comprehensive safety measures along the routes of Majlis (religious gatherings) and processions during the observances of Chehlum Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS).

Just as much as you know the ground reality of Pakistan and UK sitting in Bombay.

No real issues from various veggie sources Ive read, hope that helps.
I never clamed to. It’s news reports that’s telling us the ground reality.

There's no reason to be concerned about Gilgit. I visited there last month and everything appeared to be perfectly fine.

It's all merely amplified on social media and there's nothing substantial beyond that.

PM statements are purely political why not they arrest the peoples who involve in that violence and give them sentence urgent basis

And India wants Gilgit Baltistan from Pakistan? No thanks.

The problem is not with the land.
The problem is the hypocritical Sunni Muslims of Pakistan who can’t even acknowledge Shia , Ahmadis how can you expect them to be respectful of Hindus and Buddhists.

The only way to bring stability to the region is to being forced demographic change under controlled governors rule.

We just don't learn do we?. It is these clerics sitting in Masjid's telling people who and who not is a Muslim. They bring it upon themselves to be the judges, executioners and the jury all in one. the poor people listening to them are way too ignorant about anything. They are happy to be brain washed just looking for a fight with anyone who disagree's with them

Before branding anyone as kafirs, just listen, all they're asking for is sustenance and affordable food supplies.

You cannot force demographic change. India does not have the will power to do it. If India ever takes Gilgit Baltistan, they will also take in millions of radicalized people. The unrest and sectarian hatred will spread through out India. A huge gamble to take for a small mountainous territory.
