Bumrah I feel is one of a kind. Do india have any in their youth sector capable of being as good as him in the future ?
shami is world class and bhuvi too but they are all over 28. Are there younger talents coming through.

I am hearing good things about saini and prasidh krishna. Also siraj seems good for tests. I am only talking about test cricket btw. Real cricket.
Avesh khan is another one. Do any of them have potential to be as good as bumrah shami ishant bhuvi?

I don't think anyone as good as Bumrah can be produced any time soon.

I think they can produce bowlers like bumrah, a Hugh population who loves cricket, their change of mentality is the reason why India has alot of fast bowlers, their fit, work hard, and want to succeed, flip that to pakustan pacers thtir mentality angers me, hasan all gone backwards, wahab never improved , Amir who pcb invested alot of their time and effort on just played as a luxury player most of the times

I agree. wahab is severely underrated. Gujjar man is such a great bowler. He can be lethal when he is in form especially in odi. He is always let down by terrible fielding and support bowlers. lone ranger warrior. Best example was 2015 vs australia. rahat ali ruined his night. I will never forgive rahat for that

Wahab is a shock bowler who relies on his hostility and aggressive fast bowling, he lacks guile, accuracy, and a stock ball for the longer format hence he has poor returns

india have infrastructure, coaches, and now a world class bowler like bumrah who will inspire thousands of indian kids to become fast bowlers.

they will start producing more and we will see that within this coming decade.

Yes they do, unfortunately for Pakistan we've got serious catching up to do

Why is every other post on this forum about Indian cricket?. This forum is mainly about Pakistan cricket, besides there are eleven test playing countries which don't get the same coverage. What is so special about Indian cricket? India may produce an odd fast bowler but it can't match Australia,South Africa and England. The cricket system, pitches plus the strong physique of the players will always produce top class fast bowlers in these countries.

Naseem, Arshad, SSA, Haris Rauf, Musa, Hasnain and many more are available in Pakistan.

How much more do we want?

It's no good on paper, you got to perform on the pitch, I do agree, I've stated it shaheen hasnain naseem are the next line who could be the real deal, let's face it Amir, hasan ali, wahab been inconsistent and poor

I'd say currently as a proper cricket fan Indian attack all round is equally good as Australia or englands

Don't let Bumrah fool you. The others we have are Saini, Khaleel, Sandeep Sharma etc who are bang average...

strong physique lol? what bullocks. Pakistani bowlers are strong. Indian bowlers are strong. You don't need bulging muscles to be strong. India play more matches than all those 3 nations.
Australian and English bowlers in particular break down quicker than a dilapidated old man. Only differ3nce is there is not much politics involved when it comes to selection process in these countries. India and Pakistan select players based on nepotism rather than merit.

Agree, for fast bowling a strong core is required, nothing to do with bulging muscles, English and Australians genetically mature later than Asians, hence in the early years they break down quicker

pakistan punjabis, gujjars, some baloch people are all strong as bulls. Indian punjabi, hard farming/Labour states people are strong naturally even with terrible diets.

look at steyn. That's how a fast bowler should be built.

Yes Steyn was super fit, shame about his injuries as he's as good as any quick that I've seen

No! I have not heard of any potentially great up and coming ones.

It is heart warming to see the old bowlers showing new enthusiasm (ishant, shami). Wicket taking ability is more mental than we think. We need bowlers who are mentally sound.
