Teams like SA, Eng, Aus, NZ have bowling advantage of the ball seaming, swinging, bouncing etc AND the bowlers to take advantage of that, plus batting if the pitch isn't doing much. SL, BD and Afg (to an extent) have spin paradises that their homegrown bowlers can exploit. India has the advantage of pitch doctoring to suit the bowlers and batsmen they have. It's just us that always gives the advantage to the visiting teams be it conditions suited to batting or bowling. We were even getting beaten black and blue by BD in Tests and then Eng until we drastically doctored the pitches.

What even is the point of hosting tournaments in such conditions.

What are you even saying icc tournaments pitches are made by icc this is not test match where aqib can make a pitch turn square.

ICC monitors the pitch preparation. Generally, LOI pitches are going to be batsmen-friendly.
