What's new

Arsenal FC | 2025/26 Season

I was about to cite this but you beat me to it. Namoona himself told us the season was finished.

He couldn’t keep it together and continued to troll for another a few days. At that point it became blindingly obvious that his sole purpose here is to aggravate Arsenal fans.

No wonder there are at least 3 Arsenal fans here, who have put him on the ignore list.
He does this every season, makes wild claims

Its in the bag

Havertz is best striker

Arteta n edu are amazing

Arteta will win 2 titles in 3 years

Arsenal fans are cowards n can't celebrate

Then he disappears for 6 to 9 months and then back tracks and starts with usual copy paste essays..

Finally he's resorted to using Alias accounts

Spot on. We’ve seen the same shenanigans on the cricket side as well. This guy used to go after the diehard and loyal Pakistan fans, who believed in their team when the team sucked by harassing and trolling them. Now he’s switched sides to keep up with his contrarian persona and is now of all a sudden a big supporter of Babar Azam, who he used to bash.

The timing of his reappearance isn’t a coincidence.

The only person who takes his views seriously is Obaidd and we all know why that is.

Responsibility lies with both Arteta and players…you have to be biased if you believe Arteta is not guilty….one has been glazing Gyokores yet Artea did not start him yesterday 🤷🏽‍♂️

Yep he also use to hype up India as the best Asian test team of all time, then flipped to trolling India after. Its just his usual attention seeking plan. Everyone can see through it

Oh but hench havertz started. Who according to Arteta fan boy is top 10 strikers in world. He simply makes wild statements and then contradicts himself

I have repeatedly maintained that Arsenal has the worst fan base in the world. The level of toxicity is absurd.

Arsenal is top of the PL and in the SF of the UCL and they are acting as if the club is in crisis. These helmets are not fans. They just want their agendas to be satisfied so that they can troll online.

If Arsenal win the PL or the UCL, they will hide in their basements and wipe their tears of because they don’t deserve to celebrate alongside the proper fans who believe in the team and will keep believing until the very end.
We want an epl title.

Log out quick and log back in as Obaid....

Good wauly to hide after running like a coward for so long!
Disappointing to see you stand as a false witness. You provided false testimony to earn some brownie points with AJ and TS, that’s your price. Lool testimony for sale.

I’ve seen you act preachy in threads and was convinced that you were speaking your truth but having read this I can see you as what you are. Have some integrity and own your mistake. There are other ways to diss posters why did you think you needed to stoop as low to stand as a false witness. I wouldn’t take your word for anything going forward. Welcome to the cult of AJ’s chaprasis.. 🤣🤭

Regardless of whether or not you win bro, the manager needs to be given the boot, he has managed to sabotage the clubs potential and your signature style of play; Arsenal thrives on the front foot, playing in a cowardly manner will impact the players psyche for years when under the pump in high octane games, Arteta has been managing Arsenal like you’re the Spurs
Sorry for the late reply.

I've been extremely disappointed with our style of play....
Here's my thinking though regarding Arteta...

He's obviously desperate to land the Premier League (as are all the fans) and in his quest he's gone completely defensive, to the point where we have lost our style of play. If after all this we end up failing to win the title then yes he must leave.

However, If we do win the title then I would keep him on as manager in the hope that we'll start playing with more freedom once the monkey is off our back. There will be less pressure on Arteta (as well as the players) and I would expect our players to play with more freedom come next season.

There we have it...

That’s a take I’ve not heard previously, and I can see where you are coming from, but I still feel someone else deserves a go at Arsenal, if Arteta is given another shot I think he needs to be on probation for 3 months with strict targets

Winning cups and titles is not what most fans have felt of seen throughout England. You were lucky to experience the Wenger peak era , arsenals greatest period in history. Not only winning titles but incredible football . If you don’t see glory you expect your time and money to entertain you . Arteta hasn’t bought any flair players , it’s all defence first , back to the Graham days . Football has moved on , it’s no coincidence the two teams doing the best recently are peps and Klopps teams , their football styles are needed to win . If he doesn’t win the league a new manager could make Arsenal dominate , 2-3 elite players is all that’s required and an attacking manager

Arteta ain't going to changed, hes micro managed players through his entire spell here. On top of that to play sustainable attacking football for longer then half a season, you need players of high technical ability or maverick players. Arteta is a dictator as its only way he gets players attention, most technically gifted or maverick players wouldn't want to play in such boring fashion.

The club needs to see sense and go all out For luis Enrique or Flick (both managers ive mentioned before). Managers who play with a flair. Yes flicks young defense at barca has been exposed in CL, but if he or Enrique inherited this defense and then got the best out of new attacking signings, the chances of trophies are more likely.

A lot of fans what you make out as though this is some sort of golden Period for Arsenal, as though Arsenal were languishing in league one or two when he took over.

Reality is come end of the season Man city, if they win league will go level with Arsenal on major trophies we on, if they win a treble they will be the 3rd most successful club in English football.

Let that sink in, a supposed golden period in which Arsenal standing as a big club will go from 3rd place to 4th

How's a 1-0 win for city feel like a good result for Arsenal. Honestly this title race is mad.

Straight shoot out now. Feels like Man City missed out on getting a buffer on goal difference. Against the team that has conceded the most goals in the league.

We play twice now before city play again.

I back the boys as always. As much as they let me down. Get some goals and make s
City have to win and have to better our result. A bit of pressure.

Its not done

I feel like Villa are going to have a massive say in the title race

As much as I hate United. Man city will never ever reach their heights and level of global support they have.

You are trying to hard.... Maybe stop glazing your self for City. It's not a good look. Pretty desperate if you ask me

GD will play a key role. Need to score 2+ goals in all of the remaining matches.

Arteta should start both Eze and Odegaard behind Gyokeres and have the 100 million English donkey sit in front the back line.

He does absolutely nothing with the ball anyway and is one of the main culprits for the lack of chances from open play.

Need Calafiori back ASAP as well. Hincapie has defended really well but he offers very little going forward. The football is much more fluid when Calafiori is on the pitch. That left foot is cultured.

Yeah we play twice first, so just have to get 6 points on the board, also we can't afford any retarded rotation selection from the manager with CL games sandwiched inbetween. Can't have a Bayern / Villa type scenario like 2 seasons ago where Arteta messed it all up.

Newcastle have been poor all season and need to be putting the 2nd best team in the north east, to the sword at the weekend

Complain to ofcom . Cheer up bru it’s hilarious, there is only one team in Manchester , Arsenal won’t win it for you
:wenger

Agree. There will always be One Team in Manchester. And definitely not the Sugar Daddy's.

Make sure 120 million isak and 115 million wirtz turn up to Old Trafford in a week or so!

Arsenal must put a struggling Newcastle side to the sword at the weekend! No ifs and Buts. Surely Gyokeres has to start over Havertz.
Arsenal will beat us, just a question of how much

Though ultimately it won't make a difference, Arsenal won't win all 5 games so GD won't even be a factor

City don't really have any other distractions until the FA Cup final and by then I think they'll be at least 3 points clear

I admire the optimism the Arsenal fans are showing despite being let down by their manager and team but at the end it won't make a difference, they blew it against Bournemouth.

Arsenal need to win a game of football 1st and gain some momentum, other than the Leverkusen home CL game, the performance levels have been baf. Even the good PL home form from last year has dipped.

Outplayed by man united at home, Liverpool home was just as awful. We needed to late goals vs Everton, lost to bournemouth.

Sunderland being only good hom e performance in league in calender year.

So its just bout winning the 1st game and going from there.

Both Arsenal and City are likely to drop points

Ye would say city in the driving seat however if they win their Semi Final as expected then their game on cup final weekend moves to mid week and add that to the Palace game that will be midweek to - they wont have a game a week as you would expect. A couple of curve balls in there during midweek

If both Villa secure top 5 and are in Europa final, palace in conference final you could see both putting out weaker sides in last few fixtures. Which would effect both Arsenal and City

CIty aside from 2nd half of carabao cup have not been dominant lately.

Even vs Burnley, Burnley had a LOT of oppprtunities, if City keep playing like that, they will drop points.

100% although I believe the Europa league final is the midweek before the last PL game. But the point remains its likely to be a weaker team as Villa have pretty much secured UCL football one way or another.

Recent form for Arsenal has been poor, strangely your best performance came against City

I do agree you just need a win to get some confidence going and you couldn't ask for a better opponent at this moment in time

City from this position won't lose it now, even though I didn't think they were great last night they have a number of players in great form and biggest factor is they have Pep, he's got a number of formations up his sleeve and he'll get them the 5 wins

From a City perspective that turnaround at Liverpool was massive, obviously it needed Arsenal to bottle it as well but they have happily obliged

Mark my words, it's done, CL is your only hope and if that goes you need to bin Arteta

ITS NOT DONE!! :ROFLMAO: (my Best Declan Rice impression)

Its never over till its over. Our bad form can't go on forever.

We've thrown it away but its still not fully in Cities hands.

Hopefully if we can just win the next 2 games by at least 2 goal margins it keeps City Honest. I think they have got a couple of draws in them but that depends on us winning our games.

Lets see

In your shoes I'd absolutely be the same

I think you win your home games but you'll drop points in both of your away games

Whilst I believe it's done it's important you at the very least fight until the end, you can't just let it fade away and end up 3-5 points behind

l'm still trying to warp my head around top of the table team struggling against the bottom of the table teams like Nottingham and Bournesmouth and that too at home.

First thing we need to do is to beat Newcastle.
In recent years when we had the chance to go top we would buckle under pressure and lose that game.
Despite the recent blips and examples of bottling it, we still have the opportunity to show that we can recover and go again.

Saturday will be another massive test..

I'm now relishing this because 3 weeks ago pundits and Arsenal haters were saying how we're gonna win it because Liverpool have fallen off a cliff and City aren't the same defensively or creatively (with absence of KDB)... Now if we do end up winning it, we would have earned it without any snide whispering about lack of quality opposition.

COYG

North London Forever..

I like how positive you all are even now apart from 1 person 🤣
I can do both - i'll back the team but not blindly.

I am not Arteta in or Arteta out I couldn't care less at this point I just want to win the league. But I have been clear that if he does not win one of the 2 big ones this season then its time to move on. That in some peoples eyes is being called negative.

I support Arsenal football Club - Managers and players come and go. I don't believe I have conceded the title this season...

Arsenal should focus more on winning the UCL than having a chance in the league. League is gone already.
I still think Arsenal can pull it off, as they have slightly easier fixtures than City.

The Champions League will be a tougher nut to crack, even though they’re only two games away—both Bayern and PSG look a bit too strong even if Arsenal beat AM. Still, it’s very exciting.

So as funny as you may find this lemme break it down for ya you tea towel.

Firstly its obvious you didn't use google for once otherwise you would have found that your image is wrong. So maybe stick to google as it looks like you fall on your face without it - as your user name suggests.

So according to the above in 33 seasons of the premier league Manchester United have won 13 and come 2nd in 17 of them?
Google maths would tell you that = 30. Wonder where everyone else's title is huh?

So I assume its EPL history before it got rebranded to the PL. In that case you will find that Liverpool are actually 2nd on the list with 15 Runner ups.

Keep trying fella. Makes you look more and more stupid every time

If it was based on paper then I'd back Arsenal to win it but we've seen the usual April cracks appear

I actually thought this time they would do it, thought the gap was big enough, combined with City not being at their best and also the Arsenal squad not having the likes of Rob Holding like it had in the past

However I was wrong, the mental fragility combined with Artera cowardice isn't something I had underestimated

Feel free to save this and come back to it when the season ends, the title is done and dusted.

what changes your mind over our next 2 games which are at home and before city play away at Everton?

If you win both games and with relative ease I'll give increase your chances but I still think away to West Ham and Palace is where you will come unstuck, especially as you could also be in the CL final and that will be a distraction

This ‘advice’ from rival fans is all over the internet. It’s obvious this is coming from a very dark place. Salty rivals would only wish they were in this position at this stage of the season.

What do you mean ‘focus on UCL’, care to explain?

Another fav of salty rivals (Liv, Utd, Chelsea, NC, Villa etc.) is that they were going to root for Arsenal but ‘Arsenal made them want City to win’. Lol.. we all know Arsenal is the number one club these salties don’t want to see winning 🤣

I should take your word for it but it’s hard to believe this considering how much ill will you’re showing towards Arsenal, but could be true too since you’ve mostly relied on Google searches and social media fodder to make points.

So how do you watch football as a ‘neutral’? You follow any specific leagues or you’re more like a world cup fan?

The UCL distraction is only After Newcastle and Fulham games. If we get to the final we can park that until season is over.

not showing ill towards any club, its just football fans in general are obnoxious, i used to be one I know. Used to follow barcelona and support. Glad I stopped.

Doesn't matter which team you support, once you support it, fall in love with that team there is no going back...
You support that team through thick and thin...

Fans tend be all across the spectrum, from abhorrent/insufferable ones to timid, quiet ones with a sunny personality... but what unites them is the love for their club

Okay good now we’re talking so you liked Barca and don’t care for it anymore. Maybe since Messi left? So maybe you were a Messi fan to begin with and not a Barca fan per se?

Anyways, thanks for clearing this up. As you may know everybody else on this thread has a team they pretend to care about.

The claim that someone targeting Arsenal had no team of their own seemed like one of the dubious claims we’ve heard this week, like @Amjid Javed claiming he hits the gym 6 times a weak or @topspin claiming he scored 2 goals AND provided 2 assists in a match 🤣🤣

I’m sure even @topspin is more creative on the ball than Declan Rice.

Booker T scoring a title-winning goal on his return to Selhurst Park on the final day of the season would be poetic. Too bad we don’t play Spurs every week.

These are the type of matches - Palace and W Ham away are the type of games you’d expect him to influence but he has been a huge disappointment.

In football there is always a chance but right now I don't see it, they've got the bit between their teeth, have no CL distraction and they'll knock these wins off 1 by 1

I hope for your sake that I'm wrong and you can come back to this message to tell me I was wrong but I don't think I will be

I think overall he has been a disappointment but I also get the feeling Arteta doesn't fully trust him

Take the City game, he was Arsenal's most threatening player yet he was subbed off whilst Odegaard and Havertz stayed on the pitch

Eze is expected to run around like an obedient dog, and is expected to press more then being creative.

Everyone apart from the Arteta fan boys, know that odegaard and havertz are his favorite 2 hand puppets

He loses the ball a little too much and it’s risky against teams like City. I would personally give him an extended run on the LW because he can’t be worse than the current LW options. At least he can dribble and has a decent shot.

I don’t think he has a future in midfield. That is one area the definitely needs to be addressed in the summer and the root of the problem is the role that Rice has in the team.

He is nowhere near talented enough on the ball to be a #8. He runs around and does absolutely nothing.

Arsenal should seriously consider prizing Tonali. He is a far superior footballer than Rice and he will be the perfect #8 with Rice sitting in front of the backline which is all he is and all he ever will be - a DM.

I think Newcastle will be open to selling him for fair price and won’t make the same mistake they did with Isak.
