Attitude Adjustment needed : Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad

Players who actually have performances to back up this pseudo aggressiveness, like Kohli, Warner etc are alright in my book and have deserved the right to do so (Not recommended but can happen in the heat of the moment).

However, If I was in the place of this umpire I would have slapped this pappu bacha clean shaven chinless selfie baby, but of course actual umpires can't do that.

That attitude, some of what we saw today, is why I don't think he should represent pakistan. A player should know his boundaries.

Waqar does play politics, so it seems from the outside looking in.

A good coach should have good man managment skills so he can deal with all characters in the team to bring the best out of them.

It was just so flawed logic making him head coach. Bowling coach was fine, thats it.

I do though think Shezhad does have some ego problems. That's clearly evident and doesn't work hard enough to rectify his flaws in his game.

Proof of bias against Waqar's coaching role. In hindsight he was right about both of them. But Mickey was never given the same flak Waqar got when he was talking about these names

So what exactly is the issue here? :13:

Seems he was just over-appealing...

Good for him for showing passion and fight for the team!

Yelling at the umpire after he's already made his decision is not appealing :danish

This is known as dissent... which normally results in a hefty fine.

If he gets fined for that - then ICC need to have a hard look at themselves

They won't give him a fine because ICC's Code of Conduct is for international games.

But that doesn't mean that this 'event' is fine. It's a level 1 offence if it happens in an international game. Check 2.1.5 in the ICC Code of Conduct. Everyone knows that you do NOT show dissent at an umpires decision. Yelling at an umpire....

What purpose does this serve anyway? You're playing against the opposition or you're up against the umpire?

On that topic, I'm not sure what match referees do in such cases in leagues, etc.... Anyone?

Bloody loser. Virat Kohli is a champion and actually has the performances to back up his attitude, Shehzad does not. Can't wait until we get rid of this garbage bin.

Ahmed Shehzad is still only 26 !!! What the heck !! Didn't he play the same U19 WC in which Kohli played ? That was in 2008 .

PCB needs to fine him.

The sad bit is that this thread is almost nearly 3 years old yet when if comes to the individuals in question we have not seen even a shred of improvement in their shortcomings that were highlighted previously.

This fact alone should enable a person to see just how serious are these two about their cricket and who they represent at the international stage.

What's even more saddening is that even after all this they still have fans who support and back them

Even today he showed attidtude to the umpire when they were checking whether he touched the rope or not when catching.

On top of that he was swearing right in front of the ball boy. Not really setting a good example.
