What's new

Australia (126/6) defeat India (125) comfortably by 4 wickets to go 1-0 up in the 5-match T20I series

It just one game. We dominated in last game but rain saved Australia. Series abhi baki hai. :klopp :kp
Its only been 6 overs. Pak celebrated in the AC final and the 2022 T20 WC match and the 2024 T20 WC match early.

We know how all those ended.

Won last T20 series in australia, England , South Africa ,NZ

Only team to clean sweep Australia , NZ at their own den

:shh :kp
Remember the embarassment at the hands of England in 2022 WC in Australia?
Mostly sides are testing players in bilaterals.

For you to be counted as best start winning tournaments outside Asia and west indies.
Like Australia do. They win tournaments in conditions that are different from home.

Obviously India is a good side but not the best.

Those are agenda brigades because of Rizbar , everyone knows it. :kp
Thread is not about Pakistan so I will just close the chat here....

Indian team is in deep trouble though Abhishek is a beast of a player.

Hazelwood is unplayable here. Fresh pitches and weather makes him more deadly. :kp

Remeber who is World T20 Champion and Asia cup champions.

Everyone play with second string team against Pakistan doens't means the will against India , Australia is almost Full strength team against India ,

India have just lost 2-3 game in last 30 games ( not Exact figure)

India is only team who own the World T20 without losing a single game.

Maybe check some stats before talking nonsense.

:klopp :kp

Yeah, remember the embarrassment that India inflicted on England in 2024?

What is the point talking about an older WC when another edition has been held and India is the champion.

And what is this Asia and WI qualifier? That is like more than half the cricketing world.

And when is WI Asia or home for India? Just including anything to discredit India lol.

And again making Aussies daddy. They have won only one T20 WC and that too in Asia lol. India themselves kicked out Aus in the last T20 WC.

India is the greatest T20 team ever and is the best team currently.

Best W/L ratio. Most number of T20 WCs. Currently no 1 as well and the world champion.

Pakistani fans like to talk about stuff like 2021 and 2022 while ignoring the actual last edition of 2024 lol.

Lol Axar at 6 in Australia. Must be a joke. Gambhir yet to realise at MCG ball bounces twice more than that in Dubai

Abhishek faced only 13 balls out of 49 balls so far. Indian batsman should have taken single instead played brainless cricket:kp

Gill has been a mess.... Eating Jaiswal's place
Hopefully, the team management will figure this out before the World T20 as India is going to play a lot of T20 matches to select the best playing 11 before the World T20.

Abhishek
Jaiswal

These two are must for opening.

:kp

Always been mediocre. I've maintained that since he started playing for India.
Naah.

He was great in his prime and is a WC winner with great performances in that WC especially vs Aus and England.

Also took the greatest catch in cricketing history.

Salute to this boy AS. Nerves of steel. Can't ignore him in ODI's. Not in this form

I think he got exposed now.. Bowlers have figured him out and his technique...

Hazelwood’s day so far

SKY got a test match type good length ball. There wasn’t much he could do

Tilak threw his wicket away. At least asses the pace and bounce of the pitch for 1-2 deliveries before slogging like that

Abhishek lone warrior for India today, showing his class

I would just swap Jaiswal with Gill. Gill is unsuitable for T20. Also SKY's poor form in T20 continues. This is not ideal. Also they need to give Sanju a fixed spot. Can't shuffle him all over

India missed so many double here. Running is Very important in Australian big ground. :kp

Not an ideal T20 pitch. Few balls rear up randomly. Especially bowling first is a massive adavantage.

Its fine. These matches are for getting your lineup right.

Very important for Rana to develop well for India's cricketing fortunes for the next decade.

I am surprised Harshit is able to play decently on a juicy pitch. I always though he was a no.9 batsman. He is young. He is working on it i think.

He can actually bat at 8 but might keep him at 9 just to have a stronger lineup.

Harshit killed the game with zero strike rotation and keeping Abhishek off strike.

Anyone not in the team suddenly becomes a million-dollar hype machine and a so-called world beater.
Honestly, there is no real difference between Gill and Jaiswal in T20s, both are pretty much the same.

That is applicable when you compare two mediocre batsmen. Jaiswal has a T20 career strike rate of 169 average of 34. He was dropped for no reason. Being a leftie is a massive massive advntage.
