Pakistan just didn’t have enough runs also these are chasing pitches especially during this time of the year oh damn they still have Carey and McDermott this is a better Australian batting line than their original one the bowling is just not the same
 
Qadir could've ran through the aussies if he had gotten his length right. All of their batsmen have been completely clueless against him. Too bad he's just bowled too many rubbish deliveries

wish we had another regular spinner in the lineup. Chacha and khushdil are a joke all rounders.
 
Wasim can angle the ball in at pace. He can be useful if he cuts down on loose deliveries
 
In hindsight if they even played an xtra batter we cud have had a competetive score
 
Hassan Ali bowling is hopeless. He is serving pies. No pace, no swing, nothing at all.
 
Looks like PCB is big believer in giving chances to struggling players so they can recover their form irrespective of how many matches they contribute in losing.

Fawad, Hassan are two that have been big beneficiaries from this tour salary wise.
 
Hasan ali is from Shoaib Malik clan.. He does have good connections and seems to come back everytime

Mark my words they will be picking him for the upcoming World Cups..
 
Hasan Ali even had terrible PSL.He had economy of 12 i think in PSL and yet he was picked for t20i as well as ODIs

When we play Kenya. He’s the worst player to play for Pakistan. Not a surprise you support him. He’s been given 100s of chances and he’s still rubbish. You have a passion for rubbish players like sharjeel, umer akmal , Asif Ali etc.

Losing in 2 out of 3 formats is disappointing for Pakistan especially given the much vaunted home advantage.

Hahaha leave him. We all know we shouldn’t really take his opinion that serious. For someone who breathes and lives cricket, is his talent to spot good players or talent absolute shocking

With that middle order, we are losing more games than we are winning. Khushdil, Iftikhar and Asif are good enough to lose games from winning positions individually, and we are playing all three of them together here.

If 5 batsmen couldn't do anything, what would another one do? Fact is, you don't need to stack your lineup with batsmen for only a 20 over game. This lineup itself was totally crap. Apart from Babar, no one stood up to the challenge. Talentless bunch

No point in Pakistan sulking. This is going to be our busiest home season in a long time with New Zealand, England, West Indies to come.

Australia is the ONLY T20 team that are true men.
Unlike modern day kids, Australians play T20 in what seems like 90 meter boundaries.

Their fielding skill, stamina and energy level s much more higher.

Have you EVER seen the batsmen running four runs in a T20 game while fielder chases the ball running towards the boundary? It happens in Australian T20. That's how large their boundary sizes are. The batsmen REALLY have to work for their runs and the fielders get truly tested with their stamina and skill and energy.
 
Australia ended their tour of Pakistan on a high with victory in the one-off T20I in Lahore.

In a repeat of November’s dramatic ICC T20I World Cup semi-final, it was Pakistan who again batted first. And they got off to a flier thanks to captain Babar Azam’s classy 66 – a knock that saw him equal Rohit Sharma on 26 T20I half-centuries, tied for second on the all-time list.

But Australia pegged Pakistan back, with Nathan Ellis picking up four wickets for 28 runs in only his third T20I appearance for his country. And the reigning T20I World Cup champions seemed to have the target well within reach for the majority of their reply.

Captain Aaron Finch top-scored with 55, while there were useful cameos from Travis Head (26), Josh Inglis (24), Marcus Stoinis (23) and Ben McDermott (22) as Australia wrapped up the win with three wickets and five balls to spare.

Victory in the one-off T20I sees Australia end with a white-ball triumph to add to their Test series win, with the hosts having to settle for their ODI series trophy at the end of a high-quality month of international cricket in Pakistan.

Having been put in to bat by the tourists, Pakistan got off to a flier as the opening batters put on 56 runs in the Powerplay, strengthening their status as one of the most feared top-order pairs in the game.

Stopping Babar and Mohammad Rizwan – who are ranked first and second respectively in the ICC T20I Batting Rankings – was the key task for Australia with the ball, and they got the breakthrough they were desperately seeking when Cameron Green cleaned up the wicketkeeper-batter for 23.

And the Aussie all-rounder struck again off his very next ball, with Fakhar Zaman plinking a full toss straight to Finch.

Pakistan stuttered through the middle overs after such a flowing start, with Iftikhar Ahmed (13 from 13) and Khushdil Shah (24 from 21) struggling to unleash.

But as long as Babar was out in the middle a decent score always looked possible, and the Pakistan skipper registered the 26th T20I half-century of his remarkable career. Only Virat Kohli now has more T20I 50s (30) than the Pakistan star.

But Babar’s fluent knock came to an abrupt end when he picked out Adam Zampa in the deep to hand Ellis his second wicket of the night, with the Pakistan opener finishing on 66 from 46 deliveries.

And the wickets tumbled in the final five overs, as Pakistan struggled to make the most of the platform set by their top two.

Another set of two wickets in two balls, this time for Ellis, saw the inexperienced right-armer finish with impressive figures of 4/28.

But some late hitting from Hasan Ali (10 from 4) and Usman Qadir (18 from 6) boosted Pakistan’s score at the death as they finished on 162/8.

Australia’s chase got off to a terrific start as the openers made it through Shaheen Shah Afridi’s opening spell without the strike bowler picking up his customary Powerplay wicket, with 14 runs coming off his opening over.

And the tourists stayed well ahead of the required rate as they looked in control of the chase throughout.

Head got the 2021 T20I World Cup winners off to a flying start with 26 from 14, and Inglis kept the momentum up with 24 from 15, with the score already up to 84/2 after 8.3 overs when he was caught behind off Usman Qadir.

Five boundaries in a nine-ball stay in the middle from Stoinis saw the run rate increase even further, with the power-hitter smashing 23 runs in his sparkling cameo.

The scoring rate slowed as the finish grew closer, with Australia knowing they were well on top as long as wickets remained in hand.

And captain Finch reached his half-century as the target approached, bringing up his 50 off his 37th ball.

The skipper didn’t quite make it through to the target, with Afridi picking up Finch and Sean Abbot (0) in a 19th over that ensured that the match made it to the last.

But McDermott flicked a four off his pads from the first ball of the final over to see Australia wrap up the win with five balls to spare and with three wickets still remaining, bringing the curtain down on a terrific tour.

Poor team selection.Dahani should have played instead of Hassan.Adullah Shafiq would haven a better choice instead of Iftikhar.It was a one off match so no big deal.

"I am making all the decisions and selecting the team on my own as a captain, and my target is to play with the best playing eleven. The team comes first for me." Babar said during a virtual press conference after one-off T20I against Australia.

The right-hand batter opened up about his mindset and the role of management and support staff in the team's decision-making.

"I am giving my hundred percent as a captain and make my own decisions. I do take suggestions and input from the support staff, coach, chief selector, chairman and good points from their side are implemented accordingly." Babar added.

Since January, the Pakistani players were occupied with the HBL PSL 7, followed by the series against Australia. The players will get a much-needed break before their next fixture against West Indies at home in June.

Babar shared the players' routine during the offseason and how they spend their time. He also spoke about how they train and prepare at home.

"We work on our weak points during the offseason, we analyze ourselves and look at the positive and negative things, we try to improve the good things further and correct the mistakes that we have done in the past," Babar added.

"First, we will give time to our family as it's been a long season and then pray and fast during Ramadan. We will continue our training and spend some quality time with our families." Babar concluded.

He can't even make the decision of field placing on his own.
Many at times, we have seen Rizwan coming up to him with screaming animations to change field placing - and he nods his head like a slave and changes the field placing accordingly.
