Aus could have played Jhye Rich. He ‘s he sort of bowler that would have troubled India lots.

I am not comparing Pakistan and India. Nor am I comparing performance down under.

I am talking about the last 15 or so days of test cricket India has played over 4 test matches now that have been one boring viewing, specially after all the hype. That’s all.

It’s basically humiliation day in and out.

Boring viewing only for you. MCG had record breaking crowd all 5 days. Historically best crowd. Australia already glorifies as the best test match in a very very long time in Australia.

Because you are the only one who calls it boring. All tests were entertaining. What was etnertaining about Pak series. It was thumping in the end.

So India's top 4 were pathetic once again. I would not include Jaiswal though. He has earned his place and he is the best Indian batter on this tour so far.

Gill is another hype train that derails every other game. Time to leave him behind as well
 
250 should be a good first innings score here. Unpredictable pace and bounce in this surface. Bumrah will enjoy
 
India needs to retire out Kohli first then Jadeja. Rahul should be told to be more consistent. cannot score in 2 tests and go missing rest of the series like he always does.
 
Jadeja is playing too much defensive cricket so on any hitting Balls he May edges

Chasing full wide delivery to drive in the up. Ball is moving just enough to catch the edge of the bat. Luckily Jaddu was dropped. Catching not good from Aus today.

I don't think it would have made any difference to the result tbh.

But SCG is usually the flattest of all Aussies wickets. Looks like Aussies were looking to wrap this up quickly.

Aussies "prepare" pitches just as much as anyone else.

A defeat can never be a foregone conclusion with Bumrah in the side

This is the slowest batting I have seen in recent memory
 
Khawaja seems to get on well with the Indian players. Seen him having chats with Rohit and now Pant whenever they're walking off during a break.

This is true. Every country does that and there is no harm in that. Just that some people should not act holier than thou!

Not a foregone conclusion of course. But a typically flat Sydney pitch would start breaking up on day 5 .

OZ were not going to risk losing the toss and batting last with WTC on the line.

Bumrah couldn't save us from defeat in the last test.

As much as we like to think otherwise, cricket is still a team game.

If Kuldeep had played he could have been an X factor if the pitch breaks up. But i am hearing it has stopped helping spinners long back.
 
Nitish Reddy should have batted above Jadeja.

Jadeja is a limited batsman.
 
Over-rate is quite bad.. Australia might get fined

Australia would be 200/2 or something like that. SCG is always bat first pitch. Just because our batsmen threw their wickets away we cannot say the toss decision was wrong. It doesn't matter for us in recent times. Batting first, second , third , fourth.
 
Jadeja has lost that clutch ability he had with bat at one point. Remember the 100 he got at Ranchi vs England. He has declined now.
 
I don't think australia can Bowl 40 overs in this session.

Hopefully some WTC point will be deducted from Australia points .

BGT was pretty hyped up and test cricket in Aus is great viewing. But you’re out of your mind if you think this is well contested. It isn’t. Pak down under was contested through and through. Kudos to Aus for coming from behind and winning tests.
It’s been one sided since 15 days now. India showed some resistance on day3/4 of MCG but other than that, it’s been humiliation galore.
 
On this wicket, you need as much protection around the ground as possible area as possible. Allnis jaggjng prodigiously after pitching right into the groin area. It’s like it has a heat sensor on it.😙
 
Batsmen need a lot of luck to survive on this wicket. So far Jaddu seems to have a ton of it.
 
Boland is hitting the seam every ball he bowls. That is why he is getting the most assistance from the pitch of all bowlers in display today.

India is dearly missing Shami. He would be unplayable in such wickets. But we have to work with Prasidh for now. 🙄
 
Good batting from Pant. He should stay away from any stupid shot yet again
