Maxwell is dangerous in the last 5 overs. Nerds to give himself a chance.

He should take calculated chances till 45th over. 6 overs left between Moeen bhai and Adil
Pathetic . Again.
Playing with a bit common sense is looked down upon, if the batsman has some "special skillset". I can't believe Aussies embrace this afridi culture. They are better than that. Good example from the best Andrew Symonds who could be lethal just like Maxie. But he would not throw his wicket away.
Probably case of misleading stats? What is his role in theory? You need pick players to play a certain role. Not pick players to fill up the gap.
One of the top 3 has to bat long (30+ overs) & score a hundred. Our strategy is to keep wickets in hand & accelerate late. That's his role.

Why didn't they pick Handscomb. He seemed like an excellent batsman. Is he a pure wicket keeper or part time?
I understand if the acceleration is provided by khawaja himself. in the last overs. If his role is just plodding around and expecting someone else to finish the game then he is useless.
Stonis taking his time.

He is the Australian version of Mahi.
What the hell is Stoinis doing? There are just 10 overs left and he is tuk tuking? No need to go berserk but you don't have to block everything
He usually takes his time to get going. Probably would have better if he came at 5.
They definitely need fine tuning of their batting order. Khawaja doesn't fit their scheme of things. To be honest Marsh can also do the same. But he has better range of shots.

loool, calm down bro. Innings in the balance here, take a breath & wait for the right ball & until you can see it bigger.
Sure but don't block everything till you get going. 7 off 14 is a joke at this stage. A few extra singles and he could easily manage 10 off 14 or 11 off 14 allowing Smith the set batsman to play.
As I write he has just been ran out. Terrible innings here.
Replay zoom showed smith looking at stoinis coming for second and didnt even say no or anything to refuse the run just turn back, i think itd 100% smith's fault
He was thinking of the big picture. Stoinis never gets going.
they gotta get 325.....eng would be under tremendous pressure
The amount of hate Khawaja gets from these ex Aussie cricketers is pretty sad.
325?even 300 Looks very hard ,c@nt see them cross it
