Ireland need to blood some new youngsters right now so they can be ready for the 2018 world cup qualifying tournament. This team seems to be going nowhere and the IC cup is a lot more meaningless now since they are supposed to get test status in 2019; not to mention their slim chances against Afghanistan in a rank turner in India.
