Afridi over Shadab! Thats where the game was lost firstly.

Secondly, Fakhar I don't know why this guy is escaping criticism, he has not been a match winner for awhile now and since his knock in the champions trophy which made him a hero (remember he was dropped) he hasn't turned up for pakistan, I don't count his silly runs in the warm up or his 40s and 50s. He should take responsibility as an opener otherwise drop him and let Babar open.

With due respect to Pak selectors and team management, I fail to understand the role of Asif Ali in their XI. He doesn't bowl. He can't bat in situations that demand building the innings with rotation of strike, hard running, and waiting for the bad balls to hit. I'm sorry but if his role is only to hit out irrespective of match situation and conditions, he's not going to be useful in most matches. His fielding is not par either.

It was a good match to watch, Pakistan should have won it once they had pulled the Aussies back to 307 and also at the 25 over mark they were well on their way to win it. Regardless of the result. It was a great match to watch at the staidum, the atmosphere was great, Starc got a lot of banter from our stand and he gave some back. Was shocked with the lack of support for the Aussies. Pakistan lost this match due to their mental block against Ausssies. it's like a slave-master mentality, they'll always feel inferior to the Aussies, unlike India who confidently feel Superior against any team they face.
