Any chance of them upgrading the facilities anytime? Love the ground but it's substandard for spectators

Not sure, they had the toss but there wasn't an English player around so not sure if it counts.

Haha so the irish guy came to toss now that's a weird thing for english fans.

btw is there a way to forward the match? I dont really want to see the hack Finch batting

Need to get PP attention for this thread.

I heard a rumor of a demon quick from Kashmir.....

Channel 9 spending a good 10 minutes showing in detail how second rate Dhoni's technique is.

Take a big step forward and let the ball hit you in the head.

I want to to see a close match with score around 270, rooting for england, always nice to support underdogs. But still think australia will just run them over, they are too hot to handle for england.

The English bowlers are pretty tall so will be a handful for the technically challenged Finch and Maxwell.

Would have preferred someone more solid... but I guess he is an improved version of Afridi which isn't saying much really. Australia's tail doesn't look too shabby, no.10 is averaging 30

Afridi can play spin at least 10 times better than Finch. Finch find it really hard to touch the bat to ball against spinners forget about smashing them out of the park like Afridi

Pretty much Afridi but better batter, worse bowler. You are right in that we can afford the luxury cos so much batting.

Afridi for all his greatness averages 23 with the bat, Finch is 10 times better than Afridi no matter how you slice it.

Finch gone third ball of the match, can England actually beat the #1 ODI team in their backyard?

Afridi average almost 37 in Tests with 5 centuries does it make him better than many those who average in early 30s and 20s? btw here goes the heckinch!

I have seen enough finch against quality spin to say he is rabbit caught in light when playing spin

Don't have the cash.

The most pressing need is for some shade covering for the east bank

England lost both matches against Australia and beat the hapless Indian team (away from home) twice.... but if they somehow manage to win this match, the English media will be claiming they are favorites for the world cup... lol

lol Finch the hack finally exposed by some good bowling. Would choose Shaun Marsh to open with Warner instead of Finch any day.

What happened to all that state swimming in cash y'all like to chest beat about?

The WACA owns the stadium itself.

Why should the state government pay to develop the WACA when it''s building a 1 billion seat stadium like 500 m away?

1 wicket down and you don't see Aus shutting up shop and bringing in the tuk tuk. Taking singles and putting away bad balls. Common sense really, some teams just don't have it.

I'm about to head off to the match
Lol at Finchy already being out

India we re in a similar situation last match. But Aus has smith. India had raina and msd who choked.

Aussies haven't lost anything in this series, would be epic if they lose just the finals. That too to England.

First time Oz batting got tested in a long while and we all witnessing how good it is. So much for the hype.

I still don't understand why the hell would CA persist with a mediocre player like George Bailey who hasn't done anything in the past year and half, some of the Aussie fans here on PP are critical of Clarke's fitness and hence his selection for the WC but they fail to realize that Clarke is miles and miles ahead of Bailey as a batsman and as a captain, then my question to Aussies is why would you prefer CA to select this mediocre player ahead of one of the greats that's likely to pass the fitness test for the WC strengthening Australia's middle order?

^^ Smith messed it up from the second look. Didn't make the effort to go back quickly once it was missed.

hi.. haaaaaaaa mooen got smith. come on england...........poor ozee so many hackers

Well then. Australia are playing as bad as India in this pitch...

Talking about second rate techniques, Australia is not very far from Pakistan
