So both of Kohli's selection gems have proved to be absolutely worthless so far.

Saha can survive but he is not a quick scorer - Indian total might not cross 250, may he 260 Max. And, they are occupying the first hour - I think instructions should be to go after and get as many as possible, then focus on bowling. This Test probably will be decided on India’s second innings.

Just saw the replays of Saha's dismissal. What a pathetic stroke from a 'solid' batsman like him!

I am no pant fan but he is head and shoulders above Saha as far as batting is concerned.

Our current batting reminds me of our horrible batting displays in overseas tests of '90s.

Too much short stuff by the Aussies. Go for the stumps man!

More than India's 2nd Innings, Aussies 1st innings would be crucial. Imagine India getting them all out with deficit.

Maza nahi aa raha Starc ki bowling ka. Attack the stumps buddy!

Aussies are batting second here, even with 150 deficit, if India can bat well second time, anything over 170 will be challenging. This game turned on its tail from that run out, otherwise Kohli was on his way to take them 300+

This has got to be the worst performance by a Tailend I have ever seen by a side that poses to be a Test juggernaut.

244 then. No where match winning, but there is a score on the board. If they can hold on to the catches, may be going to be a tight game.

Absolutely no fight show by the last 4 wickets, I thought India were actually in a good position overnight. My gosh what a let down by these tailenders!

Right, that's why Aussies have to score big and aim for inning defeat. Anything more than 150 would be an uphill task in 4th innings.

What on earth was the attitude there by India?

Lower order starting from Saha just throwing their wickets away, then worse from the tail.

Tailenders hitting is fine but there was no effort to even get a look at the bowling & settle in for an over first, no effort made to select the right ball to hit, just swinging like a rusty gate at every ball.

Most captains & coaches would be pretty furious at that effort. It's a bright sunny day, the ball is new, if someone can hang around for just an hour then that kookaburra loses it's zing pretty quick and everything looks a lot easier at the crease.

This Agarwal Guy is a fraud

He has serious front foot issues against good quality fast bowlers on tracks that offer pace and bounce. His foot will be a millimetre or more above the ground on impact with the ball.

Pakistani fans are really trash-talking here...

Zaleel hone ki aadat ho gai hai in sab ko.

That Shami wicket....was Shami trying to catch the ball with his bat?

Junaids, we have got a few overs under lights to bowl for late in the day :inti

I guess we can collapse Australia from 234-3 to 247-8 with the new ball under lights.

A couple of our talented players had severe fitness issues a month ago, both playing from same team in IPL. We picked one but dropped other. I guess we picked the wrong one. :inti

Have Australia sent in 2 nightwatchmen in the first session of play?

Both Australian openers are just playing and missing.

Our bowlers are our only hope.

Our 2-bit "batsmen" aren't up to it.

Bumrah and Umesh wasting the new ball for the most part. Most deliveries were short and/or wide, easy leaves.

Pushing the batsmen back and hurrying them up all looks good but its the pitched up deliveries that get you wickets with new ball and Indian bowlers must understand that soon. So far they've been off target

Yeah those sitting outside are obviously better than the ones currently playing in this test lol. :inti

What you are on about? Anyone with knowledge and bheja will admit that Pant is a better bat than Saha. In terms of wk yes Saha is much better.

We need wickets or else Australia will post 400 runs on board.

Kohli erred again in not giving new ball to Shami who is an excellent new ball bowler
