Boys missing catches not all acceptable. We might have been upper hand if catches are taken. Not a good sign..

He's such a excuses man.. But it won't be 4-0.. India gonna win here, hopefully..
 
India missing Ishant more than any other player .
Ishant Bhumrah Shami all of them create pressure continuously
 
Kohli, Pujara, Bumrah and Shami are the only starters in our team.
 
Pucovski is a must for Melbourne IMO.

Imagine if some of the great batsmen of the past such as Ponting or Waugh were held back from playing because the incumbent was a Burns-type journeyman who averaged 30 something but whose form was ‘solid’.
 
One more wicket and we go on top. Bumrah has been brilliant so far. Hope he gets Smith after lunch. This is turning out to be a riveting test match.
 
Australia without Warner and Smith are such a poor batting side.
Renshaw is better than Burns.
Even Khawaja and Marcus Harris would have been better choices.
Pucovski might get a chance in the second Test. Warner will walk straight back.

India have the edge at the moment. Unless Aus gets a 100 run lead, India are likely to win the match.

They are struggling at home as well but generally, they do well against other teams at home.

Burns only got this match because Pucjovski was ruled out for health reasons. Not like he was even available.
 
An important session coming for us. We must take a couple of wickets or be economical in this session. Also, need to keep Bumrah and Shami fresh for the final session. Ashwin will be key.

If Ashwin leaks runs like he usually does outside of India and Lanka, he's proven himself useless with both bat and ball and Jadeja should be in for the next test.

Kohli seriously doesn't know how to use his brain, this Labuschange guy only scores runs of edges, but Kohli wont keep a fielder a little closer to the 3rd man, the ball is clearly not carrying at the current 3rd man field placement.
 
Send Shaw back to Kurla.

He's out of his league.
 
Bumrah is just on fire. He would have both the best Aussie batsmen in the shed if India could field.
 
Man I can't express in words how incredibly frustrating this is, how the duck we are dropping sitters like this!!
 
The premature hero worship and calling him the next Sachin etc never sat right with me.

Send Shaw back to Ranji for the next 2 years minimum.

Marnus Labuschagne is surviving his most terrible inning of his lifetime, thanks to our bizzare fielding and catching.

Happy for ashwin. I know he has the potential to succeed in sena. Was pretty good in 2018 season.

Aus should have been 4 down by now. India would have been on top
 
Labuschagne settling in. That was such a phenomenal spell from Bumrah and Shami.
 
South Africa,India and to an extent England have a psychological effect on Australia.

Oh please they have beaten black and blue the teams you mentioned and did it plenty of times, if anything Aus has a psychological effect on the rest of the cricketing world.
 
Ashwin is bowling wonderfully here, hope and pray that his form continues throughout this series. If only Shaw didn't drop Labu we would have been in a seriously commanding position.

To me, its due to deterioration of Aussie batting standards and good bowling from other teams. I feel like having Big Bash along with Sheffield cricket have ruined Australian domestic batsmen.
 
India wins matches in Australia because of their bowling. They get 20 wickets. Pakistan on the other hand have been losing every single game because the bowling has been ultra rubbish.

Expecting India to win this test.
 
It could be a battle of the attacks , also after this test no kohli , possibly this has to be one of the worse Indian test batting line ups I've seen

I can understand Big bash but how come Shield cricket ruined their domestic players?

South Africa missed their most important players in last tour in Australia
Steyn,Morkel,AbD but still they managed to win in Australia.
 
We're world champs at propping up greenhorns, so need to get Green out early.

What I was trying to say that many of their batsman play in Big Bash instead of playing in Sheffield Shield as both of them are played simultaneously . You need to bat for long times in First class cricket do develop skills good enough to last in test cricket.
