Why does shaw look like a 90s bollywood villan lol

Dudes like 20-22 looks lile hes 30 plus with the stash and receding hairline, probably due to the peds

If you look at his 2 years back pics you will get shock, he was kiddo.
He is completely out of shape after that ban.

Think he has fitness issues. Also tried to take something to reduce weight probably and got banned. attitude is bad if trying to take shortcuts

Okay. Enough.

Back to Shivaji Park you go.

Get a proper opener in.

Seems like a classic tool. Doesnt have the mamba mentality. Because he wouldve came back better after the ban.

And nows hes gone. Indian should invest in shubman gill.

Once again shows how stupid it was from team management to make him open in this game and that when Gill batted so well in the practice game.

Aha....now I realize why so much support for Shaw from certain section of so called Indian fans :misbah

:inti

Huge gap between bat and pad..Terrible foot movement.
Prithvi Shaw played last match of this series.

Shaw giving an early xmas gift to cummins and some indian fans. :inti

That technique will give Australians more gifts on Down Under if we persist with him. Having said that, I am not a fan of giving some other guy one game chance and the bring back Rohit. So, let's give one more test to Shaw :inti.

Why they send Bumrah here.. If they need night watchman they should've send Yadav here..

There is even a Netflix documentary on Shaw. Seriously.

"Beyond all Boundaries"

Keep him outside of the boundary for all matches to come.

Junaids your opinion on the match so far pls. What is your prediction from here on?

That explains why he is getting bald. :inti

Should be investing in gill. As good as shaw was in his younger days, seems to have gotten into his head.
If he kept humble and kept working on his craft he wouldnt be having these issues.
Also doesnt seem to be the smartest tool in the shed.

Now you have picked Shaw, can't really drop him after 1 game. I would have gone with KL.

Majority of people cant handle fame that early. He needs a mentor like sanga.

And hes clearly not the smartest. Took peds to lose weight. That shows he doesnt have the work ethic anymore.

Shaw needs to change his stance for test cricket. He takes an eternity to bring bat down. It should work in shorter formats because of power he can generate but not tests

Man Shaw is turning out to be such an embarassment, this is why I am against hyping new comers to the Moon no matter how promising they are. Not writing him off yet, but he needs to go back to domestics.

Anyone thinking Rahul would do any worse than Shaw at this stage is horribly delusional.

Shaw is trapped in a rut, it would be cruelty to keep exposing him to the new ball.

Well according to some he's a 'once in a century' talent...a combo of Sachin & Lara.

Shaw is the kinda bat who'll murder decent bowlers, but world-class bowlers will have a field day with him if the pitch offers something - I personally rate him very high, and I'm confident he'll score runs later in the series

Bhaag Viru Bhaag weren't you bigging up Shaw? As I suspected he's not up to this.

Bumrah already showing better defensive technique than Shaw.

Here comes Rohan hiding behind yet another poster. I thought you got your lesson last time you were here? :inti

Yes Sir, we all come here to learn a lesson from you. You remind me of my aunty who thinks she is the only one who knows all and we have stopped argue with her as we all know she knows a jack. Keep going.

Nah. Give him all 4 tests. If he fails ask him to go back to domestic cricket. :inti

Bumrah should just slog tomorrow. Hit out or get out.

Earlier we get Pujara-Kohli-Rahane in, the better.

Rohit isn't going to do much. Really don't understand why there is such a big deal for him to get fit.

He may do well actually, he struggles against swing rather than bounce.

So more chance of success in Aus as compared to Eng, NZ, SA.

You are still not understanding the chronology? He will keep on backing non performers so that India dont performs well. Why you think over whelming love for an expired Dhoni? And now on non performers like Shaw and Saha. Players like Pant, Rahul, Pandya etc are a threat and hence no support. Wait for 5-10 years...when they passed their peak...support will automatically start.

AUS 191

IND 244 & 9/1 (6) CRR: 1.5

Day 2: Stumps - India lead by 62 runs

India clear winners of Day 2 and slightly ahead as favorites to win this test.

Pls no more chance for Shaw bcz after this match Kohli not available so our batting already thin.
I will play
Gill
Mayak
Pujara
Vihari
Rahul
Pant
Ash
Jassi
Umesh
Shami

India should look to declare tomorrow afternoon, that’ll give them 3 nights to bowl at the Ozzies.

Shaw will get one more game before Rohit gets out of quarantine. He will have to make his mark there or he will have to earn his position back all over again. Which is quite hard for a dropped batter in India. Rohit never quite recovered his test career from his untimely injury on his expected debut day.

Gill will probably play at 6 next test onwards. He too has loose technique against moving ball but not as much as Shaw.

I get a feeling Shaw inclusion in this game is to do with Mumbai lobby. Hopefully that is not the case. Let the kid go back to domestics and evolve. He seems very raw now

But really, what do you expect when you play an out of form Burns and Wade who has never opened. That was a hail mary selection at best. And then that just caused a trickle down effect. Too ambitious from the selectors. Lowering the eyes would've been better.

I guess they could have gone for Khwahaja/Marsh but they've all had 6 chances before.

Declare tomorrow afternoon with lead of 280-300? That would be the boldest captaincy I've ever seen.

We have around 3.5 batsmen in this lineup and you are talking about declaration? If we could somehow limp to 200 our bowlers will surely win the match.

Nobody is going to declare.

We're going to be bowled out.

'When' is the quesiton.

This test match is still 50-50. India lost from similar situation in NZ last time.

Bigging up Shaw? Where did I do that? I said he deserves to get same number of chances like Rahul, Pant or Pandya. What is wrong in that? This is his first test in Australia. He should get at least 10 tests before he is sent back to domestic. :inti

You are a fool that is why you come up with these logics. :inti

That is a fair point. But I just don't see it. This Australian attack has exposed much better test players than Rohit.

I bet Bumrah will score more runs in this series than this overrated hybrid of Sachin, Lara and Sehwag
